Sanook Thai Caption: Bonus for tourists

Sanook reported that tourists visiting Doi Inthanon National Park in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand were delighted to see a goral as they took holiday photos.

The creature - a rare sight - was caught on VIDEO

Known in Thai as a Maa Thewada or Kwang Pha a goral is a goatlike or antelope-like creature.

Janthapha took the video on a new nature trail that's only been opened a few days after the rainy season.

Two gorals were also spotted in the area last month indicating the health of the environment there.

Park chief Kriangkrai Chaiphiset said that gorals are a protected species that are very timid.
