Correct - LINE can be used on both a Laptop and a Phone (I’m not sure about a Phone and a Tablet - i.e. iPhone & iPad)...  

The secondary account (LINE for computer) requires permission from the Master Device (ie. the Phone to scan the LINE Generated QR code on the desktop to approve the LogIn. 

 

None of this is a solution to accessing the original account if the log in on the main device doesn’t work.

Sparkheads idea of deleting and reinstalling the line app has some merit, there could be some glitch stopping the log in attempts.

Line does not need to be tied to a Phone number... Mine is tied to a Log-In and e-mail and I can switch the phone number on my account to whatever number I want.

I have no knowledge of the phone involved but say if it’s no longer receiving software updates or the user doesn’t install the latest software that may also be the cause.

That's a beauty of LINE - all contacts are in SG servers. LINE was not designed with any security within - it was app for gamers to chat between each other. 

Can or cannot recover access? likely not, unless she send her phone to those kind guys working at Mossad. But that will cost $$$.

Yes, that's the very form she tried many times and no response after 3 days.  Just a bunch of computer-generated platitudes like those we get from the IRS and Facebook and other wonderful organizations.

 

There must be some kind of underground way to reach them that is suitably hard to find so as to reduce the support burden to where those cheapskates feel they can afford the support labor cost.  As gethuman dot com shows, almost every organization has such an underground method.

Now I have Line on my Laptop and phone...working simultaneously.

When I travel, I use it the same way, but on my Tablet and phone.

Works flawlessly.
