Then maybe they should alter the description of their charity to be more inclusive!

Quote from Ngozi "“We see this with the anniversary memorial of Sarah Everard, which is all over the media, and the brief mention of Nessa, who’s a teacher that was murdered. There’s only mention of white and brown women in the media, and a total disregard for black women, hence the need to create Sistah Space.”, explains Ngozi."

Let's face it she couldn't be clearer! She basically says that she created it for black women!

You can at least be decent enough to admit that you were wrong to suggest the charity only supports black women and that you only did it to demean Ngozi.

Also acknowledge a link I posted in which SS said their charity shop and free assistance is open to everyone.

Ignoring that Ngozi was at an official function in her official capacity. The wilful blindness around here is astonishing.

Agree the curious old lady would have been better ignoring that type of black lady.

Ngozi seems pretty capable of demeaning herself, she doesn't need my help.  It's there in her own words that she created the charity for black women.

Of course the charity shop is open to everyone - anyone can walk into a charity shop and buy stuff. I have no idea what free assistance might be , it could be a leaflet or website which anyone can access.

The link I posted which you clearly didn't read specifically said they give anyone free assistance including goods. You're sole motive was always to demean Ngozi, clearly racist.

They talk again and again, both on the link and their own website, about being set up for African heritage and black women:

SISTAH SPACE IS A COMMUNITY-BASED NON-PROFIT INITIATIVE CREATED TO BRIDGE THE GAP IN DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICES FOR AFRICANHERITAGE WOMEN AND GIRLS.

THE SISTAH SPACE IS A SPECIALIST CHARITY THAT SUPPORTS AFRICAN & CARIBBEAN HERITAGE WOMEN AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL ABUSE, UK WIDE.

FOUNDED AS A RESPONSE TO THE TRAGIC MURDER OF VALERIE FORDE AND HER 22-MONTH OLD DAUGHTER 'BABY RJ’ WERE BY VALERIE'S EX-PARTNER (AND BABY RJ'S FATHER) IN 2014. THIS CATASTROPHIC EVENT HIGHLIGHTED THE NEED FOR AN ORGANISATION TO TACKLE DOMESTIC ABUSE IN AFRICAN HERITAGE FAMILIES AND WAS THE CATALYST FOR THE CREATION OF SISTAH SPACE.

THROUGH THEIR EXPERTISE IN PROVIDING SUPPORT AROUND DOMESTIC & SEXUAL ABUSE, SISTAH SPACE ADDRESSES THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF AFRICAN & CARIBBEAN HERITAGE SURVIVORS OF ABUSE BY TACKLING THE INTERSECTIONALITY OF RACISM AND GENDER BASED VIOLENCE.

They are now campaigning for Valerie’s Law, which advocates for mandatory Cultural Competency training that accounts for the cultural nuances and barriers, colloquialisms, languages and customs that make up the diverse black community. Valerie’s Law aims to enable police officers, relevant government agencies and domestic violence safehouses staff to acknowledge and protect black women in abusive situations through an understanding.

Disagree, from start the black women was invasive it was obvious what the old lady was wanted to know.

For example if I'm somewhere in Thailand and someone asks me where I'm from,  to answer Muang Kao is invasive and rude i know exactly what they want to know.

And if someone asked you and you say 'Britain' and the said 'No, where are you REALLY from?" and you replied again "Britain' and they then said 'No, what part of Africa are you from?' How would you feel about that?

That's excatly how this conversation went and for those too lazy to read the whole thread let me remind you again what the conversation was:-

Lady SH: Where are you from?

NF: Sistah Space. (NF initially got the wrong end of the stick and thought she was asking what charity she was from).

SH: No, where do you come from?

NF: We're based in Hackney. (Again thinking Lady SH was talking about the charity)

SH: No, what part of Africa are you from?

Me: I don't know, they didn't leave any records.

SH: Well, you must know where you're from, I spent time in France. Where are you from?

NF: Here, the UK. (The first time she confirms she is British)

SH: No, but what nationality are you?

NF: I am born here and am British. (This should have been enough for Lady SH to take a breather and think hard about the next question, but no..............)

SH: No, but where do you really come from, where do your people come from?

Me: 'My people', lady, what is this?

SH: Oh I can see I am going to have a challenge getting you to say where you're from. When did you first come here?

NF: Lady! I am a British national, my parents came here in the 50s when... (Again confirming she's British)

SH: Oh, I knew we'd get there in the end, you're Caribbean! (No she's British, she told you this 3 times already)

Me: No lady, I am of African heritage, Caribbean descent and British nationality.

Clumsy VERY clumsy and definately worth resigning over.

My impart on this is "Mountain from Molehill,. I expect to flayed.

Any organization that cannot spell "Sister" correctly seems to be a bit suspect.

Having rainbow colors prominently displayed as preferred attired dress, probably led the "old duck" being extra confused.

One cannot expect the said nanny to be confused. and asking the questions she asked to gather the ethnicity origin from Ngozi Fulani.

Rather than initially being forthcoming, used opportunity for distraction to further discord and, played the racist card, presumably with financial benefit.

Am I racist?  Think not, have had many interactions with many nationalities over the course of my scholastic years to present day.

Happily married to a Thai national with partial Chinese heritage, can't call me Xenophobic ????

She could have been an African immigrant who got a Brit passport, know plenty who have and they still dress like Africans so the question is totally innocent. The women is just another race baiter looking for offence. Nothing racist at all asking where she came from.

And when she opened her mouth and spoke in an East End accent?

Is Lady SH soooo posh as to not get a very common London accent?

I can pull off a Thai accent but they still ask me "where are you from?"

I know I am not the only one, many of my friends have lived here a long time or were even born here.

The difference being , this is Thailand , you laugh about it and make jokes, it brightens up everyone's day.

Here we actually talk about the elephant in the room "I don't look Thai" , well that is because my ancestry is not Thai, same as this woman's ancestry is not British. It's really quite simple , there is no reason to get offended.

In the UK you get someone fired, demand an apology and say you feel abused.

Different world!

How do you know she had an east end accent? more likely a fake African one just to complete her fake persona, along with the fake African name

All sides have not admitted any such thing, where do you come from is a question, not racism. This nasty woman is a BLM supporter and admires Meghan the liar, she was just looking for anything to make a fuss about for her own agenda of hating white people, royalty, and Britain.

“No, where are you really from?” = racism.

For all of those that haven't bothered to read the whole thread, may I suggest you do so and pay particularly attention to the transcript of the actual conversation (I've posted it twice)  and the eye witnesses who all say Lady SH was completely out of order.

As I've posted we knew they were going to say that when asked,  what else are they allowed to say,  get with will ya.

Here comes your flaying.

'Sistah' is urban vonacular for sister. Much in the same way eastenders use bruvver. It purports accessibility in street culture (handy if you are running a charity aimed at disadvantaged black women).

Her colours are not 'rainbow colours' (that's for the LGBTQ community) they are rastafarian.

'One cannot expect the said nanny to be confused. and asking the questions she asked to gather the ethnicity origin from Ngozi Fulani - apart from the fact she told Lady SH 3 TIMES she was British.

'Rather than initially being forthcoming, used opportunity for distraction to further discord and, played the racist card, presumably with financial benefit' - she was initially fortcoming and answered Lady SH's qwuestions. It was Lady SH that kept pushing the 'No, where are you REALLY from?"

And no you're not racist (and there's really no need to flash your credentials) but you are VERY confused.

Absolutely spot on. It is a different world and very much different standards. We EXPECT ex-consorts to the queen and seasoned diplomats to be much more circumspect that Lady SH was. This isn't just a random conversation with your friends over a Singha beer; this was an event organised by the Kings wife!

Try thinking of it as a Thai diplomat going to the Japanese embassy and doing a very bad 'me so solly' impersonation whilst pulling his eyes back. These are supposed to be professionals who should know how to navigate these sorts of situations.

I've taken the trouble to do some research and have heard her talking on LBC radio.
Maybe you should try doing the same before throwing out your nonsense.

They provide specialist advice and advocacy for African and Caribbean women, as well as anyone who needs it. Nothing to see here. Never was and you know it. Nobody with half a brain cell thinks this was a charity set up to only help black women. The motive is clear, to gratuitously demean a black woman.

Just because I am challenging a story about one woman who happens to be black it doesn't make me racist. If I were a man would that make me sexist too?

Where was your link? If you want to challenge common sense at least provide a link.

Read it again yourself, you are completely messIng it up I'm not from Britain I'm from England and I'm not black and if asked I say I'm from England UK with Irish an French family ties as I do when ask in Thailand, I don't say I'm Thai.

She is thick even a black activist who was born in UK with any sense and asked by a stranger where you from would realize what is being asked of them and answer in an appropriate way.

Is her being a fraud “irrefutable and in the public domain” because that’s what you said.
If it is “ irrefutable and in the public domain” I guess you won’t mind posting a link.

No I won't post a link, I don't have a specific link. The whole point of something being in the public domain is that it does not need a link, it is clearly discernable.

She went to the event, dressed, coiffed and assuming a name all of which had the very obvious effect, intentional or not, of presenting herself as an African.

That is in the public domain is it not?

As for being a fraud, well doing all that and then expressing outrage at someone presuming, in the face of such pretty overwhelming evidence, that she was African seems pretty fraudulent to me.
