Does the Mor Prom app work?

Wifey and I had our 4th Covid shot yesterday and the clinic said it would be updated in MorProm, but we both can't get it to work. She used her Thai ID login and I used my Farang Thai ID login as the username but no-can-do.

Is there a different user name that the clinic gives you?

Oops

Just opened the app first time after a while and it's complete redone/new.

For me it took a visit to the district hospital with passport and pink card to get all three jabs in the system.

And it's ok. Shows passport number AND Thai foreigner ID.

As the app is so completely redesigned I hesitate to give advice how it should/could work.

Best you visit the district/public hospital to get things in line.

Yes will do.

My Thai ID card works at the local hospital, but I did notice there was a bit of discussion with the Covid clinic entering my details.

Take id card and passport with you.

At our hospital they helped me at the front desk but had to call/video some specialist to get data entered/changed

When I went for my last shot there were a few thousand others also waiting. It was no surprise that it took a few days for it to turn up on the Mor Prom app .

I use the Line app and Morprom (หมอพร้อม) send me an update on my vaccination status every week.

Just checked mine and message said new version. I did the update and app opened ok but had to change language to English.

Slightly different presentation.

There are some hospitals, Bangkok Hospital Khon Kaen is one, who do not add the information into the Mor Prom app for all foreigners. I have no idea exactly why and calls to the hospital administration were unable to solve this situation. They do supply a perfectly valid record complete with QR codes that link to the ministry of health but can’t explain why the app (I am registered in the app) has no vaccination record.

Hi, seems there is a different user code they give than your Thai ID code although the local hospital uses my Thai ID and is in the system.

So wifey contacted her mates at the OrBoTor and clinic guy is coming to our place this arvo to update our apps.

Interesting.

I have a related, but slightly different problem - which may help explain the original post.

About 2 weeks ago, I checked the Mor Prom App to see when I had had my last COVID booster - in was it early August.

A few days ago, I tried logging in again to check the exact date of the last booster, but I could not get into the App.  A message on the screen said "data loading .."  I waited for about 10 minutes, no change.  I thought maybe the MPOH server was down.  I tried again the next day, and yesterday, same problem.

I thought that maybe tehre a problem with the Mor Prom App, so went to an app store to downlaod the app again.  Found the app, but also a message to the effect that the new version of the app is not supported on my phone (an Oppo A37 which I purchased about 1.5 years ago).

Any comments?

I am well aware that Bangkok Hospital has given me a number that is not my Thai ID card number nether is it my passport number nor yet is it registered with the MorProm app.

However as I have both the papers given by the hospitals and the yellow internal vaccination book I haven’t bothered to try further to connect the records to the MorProm app, somethings are just not worth the time and effort. If there were any discernible benefit I would probably think differently.

Good for you it getting things sorted, if you have any further revelations please keep us informed. ????

It is not uncommon for android phones to lack support for software updates, that’s why they are cheaper since selling phones makes money and support costs money.

the apple app has been updated and supported phones are up to 8 years old.

I seem to recall that at one time there was an issue over different versions of the app. I don't mean different versions of the same app but 2 apps with the same name.

If you had the correct version installed, when you went to playstore it should have recognised that and offered an update, should have been no need for a download.

When I looked at mine this morning I got the message that there was a new version, I clicked on the message and it took me to Playstore update screen.  The update installed without a problem and the app opened. All I had to do was change language back to English.

BTW my phone is a TP Link about 4 years old with Android 8.1.
