Kamala Harris Faces Uncertain Path to 2028 as Democrats Weigh Future
She needs to either bow out or be pushed out, she is of no use to the Democratic party, she's failed at nearly everything she's done, and I say that as a Centrist Democrat. The party should stay as far away from her as possible, they need real talent not just someone who represents different sorts of people. I sure wish I would see some Republicans speaking out like this, about their horrific leaders, and their terrible policy decisions, and showing some moral courage and independence. -

Economy Vietnam Tourism Threat Looms: Could It Overtake Thailand?
And these numbers are before Thailand's latest hoop was in place; TDAC. I love Vietnam's simplistic approach to incomers versus Thailand's convoluted mindset. As a practical example on a microcosmic level, I decided to do a number of trips to various Chinese cities in the next couple of years: until I discovered the visa rigmarole entry requirements! So it's back to Hoi An, Ha Long Bay & Hanoi for me and GF. -

Crime Foreign National Slaps Driver & Rams Van in Phuket Road Rage Incidents
The king driving the Yaris needs some serious help and a time out. People who break the law here in this case assault need to be held accountable and fined and depending on his actions jailed and deported. I hate to say bring on the tough cops, but if they don’t do anything soon it will only get worse. And yes I’m a honker, but just a tap. The drivers here both local and foreign drive me crazy, especially on holidays. -

Crime British Tenant Trashes Pattaya Rental, Landlord Seeks Legal Action
"The one-year contract quickly fell into difficulty when the tenant failed to pay rent on time and accrued three months of unpaid electricity and internet bills, resulting in the disconnection of services. She (landlord) attempted to terminate the lease in March 2025. However, the tenant refused to vacate the property, even when she returned accompanied by police officers. Mrs Chudanat said he promised to leave by 30 April but fled the scene without notice, leaving air conditioning units and lights running." The tenant is a certified nanny-state loser. Never pays his bills, takes pride and satisfaction in getting stuff for free at the expense of others. And when the law catches up with him it's never his fault, it's someone else's fault and the state should take care of him. I wish him the worse if the Thai authorities decide to pursue him.
