Thai Rath reported from the Songkhla lake in the far south of Thailand where officials had got reports of a stranded dog.

The animal had got stuck on a platform used by fishermen.

There have been many days of heavy rain in the south and it is thought the animal had got washed away before scrambling up on the platform to save itself.

The female dog was found 3 kilometers offshore in an exhausted state after clearly not eating for many days.

She was taken to the Sing Nakhon fire station where she awaits her owner or a new home.

The media reported that fishermen had reported seeing the dog as early as December 18th.

The same could be said about some members here too ????

I'm sure it's just me, but this is about the only news-blip I opened in a long time, and didn't regret it ... ????

More soppy dog propaganda, social media, especially tik tok is swamped with it. They really are horrible animals, would not be so bad if they did not bark and bite and lie all over the roads and shop doorways.

You joking right? Left the poor animal to die?

No, not joking! If people take care of their dogs, instead of letting them run wild on the streets, it would be a totally different ball game. But, here we are. It is what it is.

Does your empathy extend to your fellow human or it is what it is, zero?

Yes, it does. We are on the top of the food chain for a reason.

Somehow a "Little Wacko" conjures up images of a rodent type creature scurrying around the kill of an apex predator, to quote your own words!!
