How can I check my bike has been taxed?

Featured Replies

About a month ago I gave my wife money to get my bike taxed

She's got a busy office job and claims she's lost the documents and will get the disc re-printed

Seems suspicious to me, and would like to check if she ever did it

I questioned her if she ever taxed it and she went mental, so would like to check myself...

Go to 7-11 and try to pay for the tax again?

…and if you are overseas it can wait, if not overdue for years?
My wife just paid for one of her old tax-expired bikes, but only one year as untaxed, had to pay interest too. In total not more than 150bt????

Did she also lose the book?

If she did pay it will be in there.

Sounds like you have bigger issues, time to sort those out.

I never heard about that. Can you pay tax for a vehicle at 7/11?

And if yes, do you get that tax sticker from them or is it sent to the address?

Easy to check, for replacement it's only 20 baht, so try and get a replacement and see what happens. Take passport with you and usual copies

Yes you can pay for tax and compulsory insurance at 7/11. You get the tax sticker by post.

That's actually the best point so far. Should be visible in the green book.

As discussed, the green book will have a page something like the picture below. The date the tax payments are made are on the left.

If you paid tax in the past you would have received a tax paper/tag which you have to display on your vehicle. Did you not get a new tax paper/tag each year?

If the green book is lost then go get a replacement. The replacement book will state the payment record.

How much tax were you paying per year? The picture below is for a PCX150.

It’s all in her name

if you didn't take the green book to pay at the counter like at 7-11 or online, the green book won't be updated

you can take the green book the any dlt to get 'updated ' like your bank passbook

or you can try to pay online and see the last dates it was paid

Yep it is, just been too lazy to switch the name over and have a plan to sell it soon

Anyway all sorted, just 350 baht

So she didn't pay in the end? Would make me think why your wife lies to you about such a small thing. Explains the getting angry part when asked.
