Johnny Walker have very good marketing, hence the price I believe?

Definitely agree about double black its just too smokey!

When I lived in England, I liked Bells and Famous Grouse (but not the Grouse black label, see above) . Not all that far off premium brands in taste.

I also recall Peatlings, often a house double-pour in poverty-pubs. Not too bad. Like 100 Pipers from 7/11.

My friend from Kyoto just bought something called Simply Red (the wine, not the bad singer) at a Fuji Superette and pronounced it a 600 baht bottle for 400 baht; which I think is some pretty feint praise.

many people could care less about flavor pairings.

many people are drinking incessantly for hours on end because of boredom.

many people are drinking because they are psychologically tortured souls.

Many people aim a staple gun at their dumb faces and just fire away.

Oh, how I laugh.

If you cant socialise without drink then there would appear to be something sadly wrong.

Social drinking , one or two of what ever not to be confused with , shedful’s or binge ,call me a taxi cause I’m drunk days& nights are much more enjoyable than water or sprite!

I didn’t drink alcohol for 20 years and than decided to start!

I must say since  I started the last 20 years have been much more enjoyable socially.

I'm calling BS. Plenty of customers who don't drink buy ladies drinks for the girls. I'm one of them. That's how I know they complain about customers getting angry if they don't drink alcohol.

I go to a cinema to watch a movie and you sound a very, very self-righteous bore. The girls work in a BAR, what is it about that that you don't get? I go to bars to drink alcohol and I know many girl who work in bars and have rarely heard what you describe. Sounds like confirmation bias from an anti-drink evangelist.

Millions eh?  can I ask you to stop preaching?  if you don't want to drink - don't!  it's the same argument for anything same as smoking - don't like it don't do it. Abortion - don't like it don't have one. Stop trying to control everyone else.

My experience is many girls do drink, and many girls also avoid drinking if they can. It is not black and white and bar girls is also different individuals same as we are who visit those bars. Most is good to adopt to each and one of our personalities and make us feel Unique! A pro do her job!

they may enjoy drinking.

or they may be forced to drink to attract customers.

it makes no difference.

drinking heavily night after night for years on end is undoubtedly harming them.

You sound like a defensive alcoholic. Why should you care what anyone else drinks? BARS aren't about alcohol for me. I go there to socialise.

What happens to your body after you quit drinking

https://www.rawstory.com/giving-up-alcohol/?traffic_source=Connatix

Quite interesting to read about stem cell research and how diet influenced the renewal of new stem cells.

A short article for those who is interested. I only post the one related to alchohol in  respect of this tread, but those who drink excessively amounts of alchohol might also to be reminded of other factors that weighs in, like sugar, carbs, etc

Most advocate about happy shorter life instead of healthy longer life that many find boring, but who can say whats boring or not by living longer and healthier, even it is no guarantee it will be healthier and longer by living a little bit more restricted. Anyway a good read and a good start to research more if someone finds it interesting.

https://blog.bioticsresearch.com/7-ways-to-promote-stem-cell-proliferation

7. Reduce Alcohol Consumption

Long term alcohol intake will boost the accumulation of TRGs, suppressing stem cell activities. Furthermore, chronic binge drinking alters neurogenesisdue to ethanol impacting stem cell proliferation and differentiation. To promote the proliferation of healthy stem cells, alcohol consumption should be minimized.

You just haven’t reached the safe level yet. Perseverance should overcome prejudice and temerity.

A lot of bars serve food.  I’m not going to exaggerate the negative impact of food, but I am sure there are studies that link morbidity to diet

A tipple, or two, in time, saves nine.

Best to you, my friend.

how many drinks per week is ok before it harms your health?

i'm not sure anyone knows for sure.

probably too difficult to isolate the effects of alcohol long-term in a scientific study.

knock yourself out.

telling people drinking is bad for you is a <deleted>ty job and i wouldn't want to do it.

If you cant tell anyone alchohol is a devastating drug and not good for anybody, how the explain human impact on Earth's biodiversity and global warming?

Impossible ????

However I contribute to both myself, but I do not deny the fact!
