Will Mullah Akhund issue a fatwah?

Harry could soon be living the kind of furtive existence that Salman Rushdie knows so well.

Harry "protecting my family", and "seeking privacy" one book deal/Oprah interview at a time.

So he's gone from being completely off the radar living in palaces with huge state protection in the UK, to announcing to the world he killed 25 Taliban while living in a private residence in California.

Not the sharpest tool in the box.

Good Luck H.

Has Harry changed his/her/them/they/its pronouns yet?

Harry was suffering from my mom died syndrome.

Then he attracted the MEGAIN VIRUS.

Harry needed his mommy, when she died he was then under the guidance of the Queen another woman that told him what he was supposed to do.

Unfortunatley unlike William who learned to live his own life and find the right woman to guide him Harry got refused by all that he dated,  Wonder why.

Then came along the D list actress with the ok body that was older and knew what she wanted. (meal ticket)  Harry became infatuated and fell under the spell of that special anatomy part that can whip men.

You notice that he is never far from mommy MEGAIN.

She could not handle a world where the spotlight did not shine on her and where others mattered more.  Therefore she made up all the <deleted> about they did this to me poor me I am suffering here please take me away I do not like all the media attention.

Now they have the spotlight now the media attention is on them but only when he talks bad about the RF.

MEGAIN FELT THAT like Hollywood everyone would love her.  Only one problem no one in Hollywood knew her.  Being in a CANADIAN B-list show in Toronto is not going to make you a name in Hollywood and she certainly was not a big name in Canada

She just gets out that whip and says sit beg roll over bark and he does it.

I give Andrew more sympathy and think more of him than I do of Harry.  Not that I think he is all that great but at leas he is taking his lumps and doing it quietly to protect his family.

It's called "A Royal foot-in-the-mouth"

If it was his brother you'd probably be calling it "Doing his duty" or "Serving his country".

Seems like he has put his family in danger with his killing Taliban comments.  Grounds for divorce?

Been great to see the Daily Fail, in full bigot mode, screaming from its headlines "Oh spare us" and moaning that no-one wants to hear about it and then covering the subject in microscopic detail over 17 full pages.

To be expected after they got taken to the cleaners in the libel courts though.

Who got taken to the cleaners in the libel courts? Link?

It would be nice if this inbred royal idiot and his gold-digging Z-List "actress" wife could take a short break from the publicity seeking spotlight for a while and give everyone a break from their constant inane ramblings .....

about 10 years would be nice......

You mean the time Meghan "forgot" about co-operating about the sympathetic book about Harry?

More MEghan lies.

I'd be changing my identity if I was him.

He's really put his family in danger this time. You really have to wonder what he was thinking.

Why? Isn't the main reason of royal functioning to be in publicity? Or do you know of another reason?

Obviously a while.

Thing is, the vast majority of veterans do NOT discuss things like this, especially in public.  I did a couple years in the military, my brother is still in, cousin did time too, and we would never think of talking like this.  Perhaps, just perhaps within a select group of close war buddies you might discuss the particulars of a certain mission or engagement. But counting scalps?  Never.

In your experience maybe but not for everyone, just check the number of SAS books on missions by the the actual soldiers which covers every detail.

...which is why I said "vast majority" do not discuss it.  If you had a father/uncle/grandfather who served in wartime, did they ever talk about their "kill count" in such crass terms? Mine did not.

Also, perhaps the type of service may make a difference. If you are in the infantry, up close and personal, then you can say for sure what you did. Harry was in an attack helicopter, so how can he say for certain how many of the enemy he killed? Sounds like idle boasting at worst.  Most actual warriors would say something like, "I did my duty" or "I did what I had to do".

I'm not defending his revelations about who or how many he killed I was responding directly to your experience and that of other soldiers who have done the same but with even more operational and graphic details. For money.

You are probably spot-on about Harry's future.

He came into NYC for the Stephen Colbert TV interview with highly visible armed guards in an armored Esplanade.

That, combined with his mealy-mouthed disavowals of what he clearly said previously, leads me to conclude that he is running scared.

What a total idiot to say what he did about killing Muslim fighters. Macho brag... from Mr. Pussywhip.

Harry - of all people - should know what Rushdie went through, and is still going through, for publicly offending Islam.

This reality show stuff started around 2000.  It looks like some people are turning it into a lifestyle, as if they are living to be on camera.  There is a big difference between being someone pursued by the press and one who puts on a real-time performance.

I get the impression Harry is not prone to making wise decisions.  I've known US combat veterans of most of the 20th/21st century wars, and I have never heard one of them recount actual battlefield encounters with the enemy.  The one exception I can recall was when toking up with a Vietnam vet he confessed to a fragging incident; it wasn't a boast, he knew the incompetent officer would get them all killed, and he explained to me how he did it.  (I'm not jeopardizing this fellow, he's long dead.)  But a body count, never.

Is it possible Harry's mom was smoking and drinking while pregnant with him?
