Maybole Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Using Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon I have been unable to get the upgrades installed. After entering my password, the Error Message below appears. I do not understand what it means, I have opened a Terminal and entered "dpkg --configure -a" but the machine returns "command not recognised", How do I proceed? E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
ozimoron Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Did you use sudo? sudo dpkg --configure -a After that, run sudo apt update Is this a new installation? 2
