It would be a 1/2 a state solution, they have never been offered a state based on international law, which is the UN agreed borders.

LOL, it was the U.N that offered to give a Palestinian  state in 1948 and Palestinians  reject that .

Are you saying that the U.N offered conditions that broke international law ?

Could you back that up ?

Apparently not hard to do. Is any part of Israel in Palestine, other than the illegally occupied territories?

This is getting bizarre. Do you think most Arabs in west Bank, Gaza, and the diaspora accept Israel's right to exist?

Not BS!

Only 14 percent!

That's irrelevant. The Palestinians have a right to their own nation regardless of their animosity to Israel. Israel is denying that so it isn't any wonder they are hated. Right back to the Shatila massacre and before.

Not a credible source. That poll includes Israeli Arabs. The two state solution was agreed to in the Oslo accords in 1993..

US again backs two-state solution in call to Palestinian leader

The US secretary of state reaffirms US commitment to a two-state solution in call with President Mahmoud Abbas.

The pollsters found that support for a Jewish-dominated state has surged among Israeli Jews. On the Palestinian side, the two-state solution still enjoys a plurality of support, but Gaza has replaced the West Bank as the area with the more moderate views.

They aren't Palestinians.

Stop this nonsense .

150 000 Palestine remained in Israel in 1948 and that number is now two million Palestinians live inside Israel as Israeli citizens

That is basic common knowledge and isn't disputed by anyone (apart from you)

Lack of links removes your credibility. Palestine is as entitled to have immigrants as does any other state including Israel which grants citizenship to anybody proving ancestry back to a single grandparent.

If neither side trusts each other at all any kind of peaceful solution is impossible.

I knew you were going to attack the source.

Too predictable

Dude you are living in the past!

Hopes for a two state solution are over!

There isn't strong support for that on EITHER SIDE!

Is that the Shatila massacre that was carried out by Lebanese Muslims in Lebanon  in retaliation for an assassination of their Prime Minister  ?

it's not only about trust.

human beings are emotional creatures who hold grudges and want justice for past hurts.

that's why it's a vicious cycle that is very difficult to break.

Not if they supported a two state solution which is what is fair and what the rest of the world wants. The Netanyahu government are racist scum.

The Palestinian Arabs do not support a two state solution. As they say it takes two to tango.

It's very relevant. The Palestinians deny the right of Israel to exist. Until they accept that right, they themselves will not have a nation.

Netenyahu is a Psychopath and fanatic only interested in his own power , the Fanatics , sephardic jews racists and Ultra Religious jews are in control , but they are a minority ,, most secular Israelis I know  just want peace , If Israel does not come to an accomodation with  moderate palestinians  who are also a majority  the It is ultimately doomed .

I have relations there , have worked and lived there ... I have also worked with palestinians all over middle east , problem is Fanatics and vested interests   , nasty minorities that ruin the majorities  regular citizens life on both sides .. Jews and Arabs ... its a mess

They may accept a two state solution when there are more settlers in the West bank than there are Palestinians and Jews will then be in a majority there

"Netenyahu should be in Jail anyway"

Who's to pardon ex rapists then?

"Former Israeli President Moshe Katsav was released from prison this week after public prosecutors decided not to appeal a parole board's decision to free him.

Katsav, 71, was released from the Maasiyahu Prison in central Israel on Wednesday after serving five years of a seven-year jail term for rape.

In December of 2010, Katsav was convicted of committing rape and sexual assault while serving as a cabinet minister. He was also convicted of sexually harassing two women while serving as president.

Israel’s eighth president, Katsav was a leading member of the right-wing Likud party, which is currently led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He is the first Israeli president to serve out a jail sentence."

OK (if this poll is reliable).

However, people being people, opinions are influenced by perceptions. After years of Netanyahu's government, and on top of it after the so-called Trump "peace" plan, it is obvious that Palestinians were not expecting to see the opportunity of any fair two state solution soon.

When there is no realistic reply option, and you are <deleted>-off, choosing the less realistic and most provocative reply (regaining all of Palestinia) is not a surprising reaction.

Israel has deprived an entire generation o Palestinians the right to life, liberty and happiness. They don't get to claim distrust of Palestinian rights.

Netanyahu should face trial in The Hague along with many of his cronies. They engage in war crimes with impunity due to an outsized influence in American politics.

Israel has tried a number of times to make peace with the Palestinians. On each occasion the Palestinians rejected peace. So really the Palestinians have deprived themselves of Life, Liberty, and Happiness.

If you believe invasion of Ukraine was right, then,,,,,,,

Anyway, there is no good in this conflict. A long lasting conflict with absolutely no solution, and to many Palestinians is suffering.
