Can anyone recommend the best hotel in Chaiyaphum? Will spend a weekend there next month with my family. Can not find anything online. Thanks in advance.

The Siam River Hotel, (perhaps it's called Siam River Resort), is new and looks very nice, I've only been to the reception, not to the rooms. I think the cheapest room is 900 baht per night. I have stayed for a night at the Sirichai hotel which it right intown, that is much cheaper and i thing the most expensive room is 1000 baht. It's ok but nothing special. I can't give you phone numbers as i am not at home right now.

We stayed in one in Wattana Sombom........I wouldn't really recommend it though.

Better than having to sleep in the village though..............just :D

I can't remember the names of the one's i stay at when i'm up in Chaiyaphum. All i know is, one is a kind of holiday resort looking place and the other is a bit sh1tty but cheap. Get yourself full of booze and it makes no differance :o

Don't tell Yorky that...............................the hotel? was so bad he got up in the middle of the night to leave, and sleep in his car. He would have made it too, if he hadn't fallen over the foot drop into the bathroom?. Me and Mrs BFG heard nothing in the next room. Our room wasn't as bad, if you discounted thew pile of comdoms under the bed.

I've stayed at the River Resort (Siam River Hotel) and it's very nice.... I paid about 1500 for a LARGE suite which was perfect for the wife's improv family gathering.

1 bedroom w/ king size bed, tv, full bathroom and balcony (if on 2nd floor)....the living room has a full sofa set with tv, full bathroom and balcony (if on 2nd floor)
