We all know the Chinese government says that.

Here is a more trustworthy source,  the goverment of Taiwan:

The positivity rate of travelers from China has dropped from more than 20% on Jan. 1 ... to about 2% last week

What is the relevance to Thailand?

When the Chinese start coming by the millions,  you don't have to be afraid of them.  They are no more infectious than anybody else.

Very true Lorry, despite much paranoia.

Watch the few countries in the world who put restrictions on Chinese travelers quickly peel these back over the next  few weeks.

Great to see covid slowly fading out overall, although many in Thailand still  need to get the memo.......

Reading a news item about Covid, I wanted to check the latest weekly trends on Worldometer Covid. Guess what, no data about China anymore! All other countries right there with latest numbers, but 'China' has disappeared...

China doesn't publish numbers anymore.

That's a lot more honest than many other countries publishing numbers that have not much to do with reality,  because so many people use ATK and just self-isolate for a while (some don't even do that). These people obviously don't appear in any statistics.  In many countries, they are the vast majority of infected people.

Having said that, of course it is possible to publish hospitalizations and deaths.
