The whole world going woke now, and finely now I used the word to.

what's the opposite of woke?

the "good ol' days" when people were allowed to blow smoke in your face while you were eating in a restaurant?

It's not as simple as that. I can handle people slinging off at me with the best of them. If that's all it was the moddies wouldn't have seen fit to remove it. Despite repeated warnings it was being abused. That was obvious to blind freddy. It seems some people think abuse is just free speech and should be permitted.

Yes it is that simple.

You just let a little smiley/laughing face, good or bad upset you on a forum.

how laughable is that,  hold on, :giggle::cheesy::giggle::cheesy::giggle::cheesy:

Snowflake alert.

There is always when to much of the good intentions meets a cross point, and maybe now it is the time to pull the plug for some of the good well meaning intentions.

When democracy turns to every little detail have to be exclusively implemented that should have been covered by the common sense and right for every human.

There is not only the woke generation that creates this solely, it is the opposite who also plays a huge role in the game as well. The whole universe extracts until it collapses. It could be a law

Sorry, I'm weak like that. Displays of puerile behaviour annoy me. They shouldn't I know.

The occasional one is OK, but there are some posters who go on a mad rampage laughing at all your posts and it becomes annoying to keep receiving numerous  notifications that so and so had laughed at your serious  posts .

You didn't seem to want to join in the fun and games other on the other place when you chased Colin and Y off the forums .

It was an enjoyable place until you and your mate  chased quite a few posters off

youtube has Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down.

that seems like a good system to me.

The Thumbs Down is a bit pointless on YouTube as you can't see how many

Ok, so you don't know how to use the forum tools for stuff you don't like to see.

Maybe start a thread on how to stop seeing so called annoying posters. :cheesy:

Ps Sounds a bit like the controlling thing,  is rearing it's ugly head again.

You need to grow up.

If you disagree with someone's post, then respond to the post and explain why you think your opinion is better.

And back it up with links, preferably.

You are advising me to block posters because they laugh at my posts , how thin skinned and woke of you .

   ???????? :clap2::cheesy:

Hmmm, this doesn't seem like a grown up solution to whatever the problem was perceived to be, maybe it's just me. I always felt that those who tried to use laughing emojis as a weapon were not quite right and could be safely ignored. Personally, I think it's always good when humorous content is appreciated and it shows.

Are you trying to be clever or annoying ?

Could you state your reasons for posting "555" ?

OK, if LAUGHING is not allowed, why not delete ALL emoticon so that repliers must say why they do or do not agree with the post they are replying to.

Assuming you wanted to do something about it, what is the solution? Warnings were insufficient.

Stop the condescending remarks , you just cant help yourself

Because this way only the trolls are removed.

I think it's been proven that moderation, rather than a free for all, improves member retention.

How can you stop people abusing the laugh emoji though ?
