Popular Post ChrisKC Posted February 10, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 10, 2023 Take note those Pit Bull Owners on this forum! Another Pit Bull causes death turning on its own family! Now my opinion: They are all ugly looking brutes, anyway! Including photos of them here! 4

This comment was greeted with such derision & shock - I have dropped a few steps in my standing in my family here!!. No - the puppies will be raised, and then when old enough, my Father in Law will take them for a trip to the 'forest'. Here they will be abandoned/dumped/rehomed. Sorry it has to be said, Thai's have a savage and backwards culture surrounding dogs. It's sickening all the poor diseased dogs suffering the streets you see here. 100% of this is the fault of the general Thai population at large. It shows the Thai's have a cruel indifference towards dogs or are too lazy and selfish to make any steps to fix the problem. Whatever, nothing is going to change here but they should all be ashamed of themselves and I wish they knew they were losing face in the eyes of the civilized world. 2 1
Purdey Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Many people here who have dogs expect them to be burglar alarms. I don't they would euthanize a dog for savaging a burglar. There is a guy near my home with two of the darned things that go up the soi sniffing and defecating everywhere. He has kids so i am just waiting for a disaster to happen.
Burma Bill Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 IMO, it should have been packed off to Vietnam as a culinary delight!! 1

When will the Government realise that something needs to be done about these dogs, especially when they have bitten people in the past? "Phatsorn, Mana's wife, arranged for the dog to be looked after by kind people who offered to help." Unbelievable! I wouldn't go near it with a bargepole! Agree fully. And what of the unsuspecting neighbours of the 'kind people' now looking after the dog? This dog is proven to be extremely dangerous, irrespective of arguments between bad dogs, bad owners etc. It is what it is and the dog should be put down forthwith for the safety and protection of others. 1 2

Not much use charging the owner,he got himself killed by his own dog. That is what this topic is about. 1
dallen52 Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Nice doggy... Not. Only good pitbull is a dead one
generealty Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 For all the people that are stating this and that about a type of dog breed. This dog has bit 10 people and now killed someone 'In the Family'. No way can any dog lover debated if the dog should live. It 'MUST' be put down. How the hell can anyone debate this and that about owners and the dog as a bred. This is clearly a killer. DEAL WITH IT ! 1

As long as such narratives are still used, the tragedies will keep on happening. No such thing as a bad dog, then one would have to explain why, for example, Pit Bulls could not be used by police, who consider them too dangerous and uncontrollable to be of any use. And this appears to suggest that poodles and Pit Bulls, well, they are all dogs, same family of animals. As if a poodle raised by a bad owner would start killing the neighbors and owners as well. Yes I agree there are bad dogs as with other animals even horses or humans: they can be Just Evil! However on a whole most of these animals that attack are because they have incompetent owners. This dog I imagine would be half insane being kept in a cage and "sometimes allowed out". Are some breeds more dangerous obviously yes but that comes from Breed traits. American Pit bulls are very protective (once known as the Nanny dog) that with their power, poor socialising and inexperienced owners then you have an equation for disaster. Some of the worst dogs for bitting are toy dogs but due to their small size they are not normally fatal. No dog should ever be allowed to roam free and definatly not in packs. Thailand needs a Cull of these dogs desperately.
