webfact Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Sanook Thai Caption: What is that khrap? Sanook were contacted by Bunma, 40, also known as "Chang Uan" or Fatty the Repairman who hails from Nong Plong sub-district in Buriram, north eastern Thailand. The fridge repairman said he was out trapping field rats the other evening as is his wont. He was about to prepare his nighttime traps and was walking along a gravel road by a klong. He was all alone, there was no one else about. Suddenly he heard a noise behind him and thought someone was " 'avin a laugh" at his expense. Picture: Sanook He turned to see a weird black object 8 cms in length that clearly wasn't gravel. He said he didn't dare pick it up at first and gave it a bit of a poke with a stick. He took it home for a wash and did some Googling that suggested it was a meteoroid. But he admitted he's not an expert in celestial bodies and needs help in identifying what it is. It weighs about 50 grams. He tried heating it and it was only hot in the area where the heat directly impacted. It did not conduct the heat like metal would, he said. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-03-03 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m.
