Immigration residence letter in Jomtien for a non resident?

I live in Hua Hin but I'm currently in Jomtien with a car I bought recently. I need to change the ownership in BKK as thats where it's registered and I want to keep the same number plate so I would like to do it on my way home.

Will Jomtien immigration do the residence letter anyone know? I have the address slip from HH immigration.-

2 hour wait to find out, my guess is they won't. If you go at 3pm it was quieter last week. Closed Monday

The plate should change to the province of your residence and each province has their own plate numbering system.

I thought they had an enquiry desk where I wouldn't have to wait but I know I can't go until Tuesday so I thought someone else may have tried it.
