March 10, 20233 yr The first of two fuses of a UPS has triggered (4A, the ones in the glass tube with fine wire). Supplied replacement works. But would still be better to have a spare. Anybody knows where to get in Pattaya?
March 10, 20233 yr I ordered off AliExpress but bet Lazada carry them too. The electrical shop on North Rd just down from the Bus Station might carry them.

March 11, 20233 yr The big hardware/DIY stores should have them, I've bought them there before in places like Thai Watsadu or Home Pro. I've bought them in packs of five fuses, as you say, it never hurts to have a few spares around the place. Be careful what you buy, though, as they look pretty much the same but have different amp ratings.

March 11, 20233 yr As my house has a good RCD as a quick 'Temporary' fix i rapped some ally foil around it, that was about 5 yrs ago. i have never got around replacing it.

March 11, 20233 yr Author Sounds like the term "fine wire fuse" is misunderstood? Does "glass wire" hit the nail? Nothing to do with household circuit breakers.

March 12, 20233 yr Author Surprise. Found a near match at HomePro on Sukhumvit. They have 5 A, 10 A and 15 A (longer cylinder). 5 A is not 4 A but I think the device would survive.
