Interviewed by BBC News, Mr Davie said "success for me is getting Gary back on air", adding he was prepared to review impartiality rules for freelance staff like Lineker. Many of the people coming across in boats are attempting to enter the UK illegally without a visa or permission , these are typically Albanian people who want a better life in the U.K They are attempting to avoid UK immigration and sneak into to the UK through the back door Do stop with this deflection of assumptions on who the migrants are or why they are coming. The subject under discussion is the censoring of Gary Lineker for speaking up against the language used by Government in reference to migrants. 3 1
Popular Post brewsterbudgen Posted March 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 12, 2023 Well, BBC Match of the Day was ridiculous - just 20 minutes of goal highlights. No intro music either! Bring back the commentators and pundits! 1 1 1
Chomper Higgot Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 As a bonus the BBC have handed the general public an object lesson on worker solidarity and collective action. Goooooaaaaaal ! 1

Makes no sense at all except that it fits your opinion. The comments section of the Telegraph as an indication of what people think? The comments section of the guardian would be equally valid. 3

Your off topic remain/leave vote was a very tight result and within the confidence levels at the time 2

They are rich and privileged. But Linker would never work in Qatar and be a woke hypocrite right? oh wait... You know he has actually taken refugees in to his home, right? And he is continuing to support them long term. So he's not feigning concern for the poor, he is actually helping. But all you can do is criticise with pathetic "wokeism" comments. Rich people are not allowed to help poor people because it makes them "woke"? He is sticking up for what he believes in and I support him. And I love the fact it winds up all the bitter right wingers on here (and elsewhere). And the UK government are making a mountain out of a molehill to deflect from the racist, illegal policies that they want to shove through next week. 1 1 1 2

My comment about 'not cutting the mustard' was a personal one about sources I'm willing to trust. Your first link is unfortunately useless as it is just a list of twitter comments pushing an unfounded opinion. The second is better though. I don't know what BARB is but at least it gives a potential anchor in reality and objectivity. Funny it's a left wing tabloid though.
