March 29, 20232 yr Can anyone recommend a good ready-mixed waterproof tile grout? I've tried asking at Home Pro and Thaiwatsadu and they keep pointing me at the 10kg bags of powder.
March 29, 20232 yr I don't know of a redi-mix here but the Crocodile powder is cheap, easy to use and seems to hold up fine.
March 29, 20232 yr Interested in this too, what about https://www.homepro.co.th/p/1010643 Might be easier to get a builder to do it. But make sure you watch at least 7 minutes of YouTube so you can tell him how to do the job ???? This is where I am now at the moment, figuring out my role as supervisor as quality of tiling ive seen elsewhere is questionable but only when looked at in detail... Just waiting for the inevitable of dont confuse your 7 minutes of YouTube with my 20 years of craftsmanship retort.. Have a leveller Start from center point Make sure you have spacers If he doesnt have a tile cutter, buy one Make sure the pattern matches, and if there's an arrow on the back of the tile explain what it means Make sure the right grout is used, match color as close to tile if that works, use waterproof grout where requied Make sure you wash off excess with acetone Make sure you have plenty of masking tape..
March 29, 20232 yr As you're asking about grout: This one I have used to repair a bathroom floor and also to grout a small newly tiled worktop. TILE GROUT WEBERCOLOR EVOLUTION 1KG WHITE (homepro.co.th)

March 29, 20232 yr If you're doing it yourself, fine, but hiring a tile guy and making them use products they are unfamiliar with makes little sense. Crocodile products are cheap, easy to use, and all the Thai workmen know how to use it.

Yes I just bought and used. 69 baht from memory, compared to this mentioned above which is 289 - but doesn't need mixing or water......... 2 hours ago, Madgee said: As you're asking about grout: This one I have used to repair a bathroom floor and also to grout a small newly tiled worktop. But I was grouting small areas on different days so it was worth it for the convenience. 2. Yes, I've used various small bags of coloured powdered grout with ok results. 3. I found the quality of weber ready mix superb.
