Trump will not appear in court in handcuffs - lawyer

I’m interested to hear two things:

Firstly what the indictments actually are and secondly what bail conditions are set, specifically are Trump’s recent attempts to intimidate the NYDA raised in his bail hearing.

Getting to see his mug shots would be an added bonus, but secondary to the above.

My money is on the Georgia election interference that is going to land him in jail. If that happens, my faith in humanity and the American legal system will be restored, to a degree.

I would generally agree except if Trump ex-CFO turns state witness in the SDNY Bragg/DA action.

Waiting for the Trump fanatics to try and compare his payoff of stormy to Clinton's Paula Jones payment.  When they do try here's the article disproving Bill did the same.

No, Bill Clinton did not pay Paula Jones ‘hush money.’ It was a public settlement.

Some have drawn comparisons between former president Donald Trump’s alleged hush money payments and a settlement Bill Clinton paid in 1998.

I missed that obvious lie.

I don't know if you are really that appallingly misinformed/uninformed or if you are attempting to misinform others.

My guess would be appallingly misinformed/uninformed, but then intentionally so, because everything that doesn’t suit their narrative is dismissed as ‘fake news’.
Ignorance and arrogance. Like George W. Bush, who proudly proclaimed he didn’t read newspapers. How any president of the USA could even say a thing like that was and still is beyond me. And until 2016 I believed there was no way there could ever be a worse president. Boy, was I wrong!

If he turns himself in, then there really isn't a need for handcuffs.  I mean, he could make a run for it, but I don't think he's capable of running.  He could start swinging at people, but again, he leaves that to others.

I'd tend to handcuff his security detail.  I suspect they are a much greater risk of causing a problem than Trump.

Nobody should be handcuffed unless there is a real concern that it could go sideways and that doesn't usually happen until they are found guilty and remanded to some form of custody.

Probably not handcuffs but there could be grounds for refusing bail as he is a flight risk

Not many other defendants have their own 757 aircraft on call

I am not a fan of Trump, but I am not concerned about him fleeing.  His options are limited, he'd probably not receive protection except in countries like Russia or N. Korea.

He seems to think he is innocent and based on the length of time it took the Grand Jury to come to a decision, it would seem that it's a complicated case and far from a slam dunk.  Most reasonably wealthy people would get bail.

Any attempt to fly off in his plane would not be easy with all the security protocols surrounding a former president.

No bracelets, no MUGSHOT either!

I was hoping to get a Trump MAGA mugshot t-shirt.

LOL.

No mugshot yet. I’m sure huge sums of money are being bid and someone will eventually cave and the mugshot will be leaked.

That would definitely make a few folks on this forum happy and others livid.  Lets hope folks behave themselves better than some actually, like Trump do not. The man has now made it open season on the DA and his family.  He just can not help himself.

One thing is certain: Trump is going to milk this as much as he can and he doesn’t care one little bit if there will be casualties, either literally or figuratively.

Which in reality makes the whole country a victim.

There was no mugshot. Period. He wasn't treated as a regular citizen.

This may make t wet his pants to have his former lapdog grow a spine and testify what he was told by trump or witnessed first hand in the days leading to Jan 6 and trumps attempts to overthrow the election by any means possible, legal or not, violent or not.

The Stormy Daniels case is the very least of trumps worries.

There are some stormy days ahead for Trump and the biggest threat won't be paying off a porn star.

And did anyone else think it "rich" that trump demands that the stormy judge should recuse himself but of course it's fine for Clarence Thomas in the Supreme Court to not recuse himself while his wife is actively and openly trying to assist in overthrowing the election?

Anyone who believes this isn't all political is living in an alternate reality.

It's laughable to think that Trump is a flight risk from misdemeanor  charges.

Lott notes that there were no calls to bring felony charges against Hillary Clinton after the Federal Election Commission fined her campaign and the Democratic National Committee for hiding their funding of the "Steele dossier" that accused Trump of colluding with Russia to win the presidency.

Of course, he's not a flight risk, we'd never get that lucky.

Trump is not a flight risk because he is too recognizable, if he attempted to disappear there would be bounty hunters all over the world eager to cash in, and the only countries that might give him sanctuary are ruled by men as sleazy as him who would use him anyway they saw fit.

Who's thinking that Trump is a flight risk?

He just flew back to Florida in his own 757.................lol

Your other link is from the 21st March before the felony charges were revealed and the statement of facts behind them.
