Thailand is looking toward artificial intelligence (AI) to boost economic growth and the kingdom’s vision to become the globe’s fifth-largest economy by 2027

And put thousands of factory workers out on the streets.

Just what Thailand needs.

how can it know that it will be the world's 5th largest economy?

many other countries will be using AI technology as well ...

I remember reading in QI that, when tested, stock market traders were no more accurate than a monkey tossing a coin. AI is no more than the sum of its inputs, garbage in garbage out. ChatGPT appears to give coherent output but it is only regurgitating what has been input, put all the writes out of business, no new input no new output. The same for all the AI painting pictures.

Thailand has in recent, and not so recent, years been, and still is, run entirely by AIs. Maybe Machine Intelligence would be an improvement, better still, Educated Human Intelligence.

AI can be a useful tool and as such be efficient in reducing confusion among people (( politicians ) , who just do not know what is the best thing to do ... It all depends if it is biased or not .

If AI is neutral and objective , it can be useful to solve a lot of problems ...

I couldn't figure out what "Thai-lizing" means in the topic title and the title of the news article to which the OP gives a link. A search of the worldwide web produced no answer and in desperation I asked the Thaivisa ChatGPT.

Question to Thaivisa ChatGPT:
What does "Thai-lizing" mean in the title "Thai-lizing industries with AI: The future is machine-made" of the news article https://thethaiger.com/hot-news/technology/thai-lizing-industries-with-ai-the-future-is-machine-made

Answer:
The term "Thai-lizing" in the title of the article is a play on words that combines "Thai" and "industrializing". In this context, it means incorporating AI technology into various industrial sectors in Thailand, such as manufacturing or agriculture, to increase productivity and efficiency. Essentially, it refers to the adoption of AI to improve and modernize industries in Thailand.

Question to Thaivisa ChatGPT:
Who invented the word "Thai-lizing"?

Answer:
It is not clear who specifically coined the term "Thai-lizing" in the context of the article you mentioned. It could have been the author of the piece, the editor of the publication, or someone else involved in producing the article.

It seems that somebody at the news publication "Thaiger" invented this word. Shall we call this new language Thaigerlish?
