every question you have asked is answered by common sense and the simplest google search.

But, short answer is each of the conditions you mention is exacerbated by alcohol consumption. in the case of gout it may actually be the cause.

Re alcohol type:

Foods or drinks that are rich in purine (an aromatic organic compound), such as beer, distilled liquor, and wine, are known to trigger gout attacks. Moreover, grain-based alcohol, such as beer, that contains gluten is known to trigger joint pain and flare-up the symptoms of RA

Need to watch your Uric Acid levels as you age and adjust lifestyle accordingly, gout is nasty and alcohol a key cause.

Alcohol is not the cause of arthritis, that's just getting-old-itis. Alcohol can exacerbate the joint pain.

Or in some cases can relieve it somewhat.

Only temporarily.

Have you tried it?

"rheumatism"  -  not a medical diagnosis. It is a vague lay term that covers a range of very different diseases. Including gout and the various different types of arthritis (see below)

Arthritis - you need to specify what you mean. Rheumatoid arthritis? Osteoarthritis? Psoariatic arhtritis? AFAIK known of these are directly affected by alcohol.

Gout is definitely exacerbated by, and can even be caused by, alcohol. See https://americanaddictioncenters.org/alcoholism-treatment/how-does-alcohol-impact-the-risk-of-gout

Beer is especially bad, but any alcohol can be a problem for a gout sufferer

On many occasions, this topic was the subject of discussion, with various independent views. This was the reason I posted this question for my general knowledge.

Thank you Sheryl for your response, which answered my question and cleared my doubts.
