Four Charges Filed Against Driver in Bus Fire That Killed 23
I couldn't agree more so now it looks like the rear exit door wouldn't open which is the first thing the driver should check before he picks up any passengers I've laid out what the procedure is in an emergency of which I've had a few seen as I had a operator's license for over 20 years this could have been avoided or as you say many more saved and for idiots on here to pontificate about the driver trying to put out the fire twice is just a ridiculous uneducated cowardly comment In the event of a fire, your top priority as a bus or coach driver is to help passengers disembark as quickly and safely as possible before the fire escalates. Here's how the procedure should go: Stop the vehicle safely: Pull over immediately and turn off the engine to reduce any additional risk of the fire spreading. Open the doors: Immediately open the doors to allow passengers to disembark and leave the vehicle quickly. Instruct passengers: Calmly but firmly instruct passengers to exit the bus in an orderly manner. Encourage them to leave personal belongings behind to speed up the evacuation. Use emergency exits: If the main doors are blocked or unsafe, direct passengers to use emergency exits, including windows or roof hatches. Move passengers to a safe distance: Once outside, guide everyone to a safe distance, away from the vehicle and out of harm’s way. Call emergency services: After ensuring all passengers are safe, contact emergency services to report the fire and get help. Once everyone is safely off the vehicle, then, if it’s safe and you are trained, you can attempt to control the fire with a fire extinguisher. However, passenger safety is always the first priority. 4o -

Ukraine ... Enlighten yourself
OK, I pinched my nose and started watching. - "Saddam Hussein ran the most progressive regime in the Middle East." (0m 35s.) Progressive?? What part of his wholesale slaughter of political opponents and entire ethnic groups can be regarded as progressive? - "In 1992 the Berlin Wall comes down...". (1m 05s.) The Berlin wall falls on 9th of November, 1989. - "Gorbachov goes to talk to Tony Blair.......". (1m 17s) Tony Blair did not become PM until 1997. OK, I'm done, Not even 1.5 minues in and he's already shown he's got no grasp of the events as they unfolded. I mean, if you can't even get the basics right how are you gonna pick up on the finer details? -

Thai students brutally abused by soldiers in behaviour modification camp
Obviously many of those students' 'negative behaviours' are caused by their parents - who think that their little Johnny cannot be slapped or have his hair cut. Oh the humanity - imagine them being yelled at and their phones taken away. I think the soldiers that kicked that one particularly annoying little sheeiit in the back, who probably told them to go copulate themselves, were very restrained. If the 'lessons' were conducted on a military base, there is nothing the parents can do - they are not subject to normal laws about using force to control someone with bad behaviours. The school might get into trouble - but lets hope the school bosses dont back down and they ignore the media hysterics and parent's outrage. Tell them to take their little Johnny to another school - we only tried to discipline them - which you have obviously not done. -

Trump Too Scared To Appear On 60 Minutes
It would be if he had lost. He only lost in the imagination of Harris fan boys. I said at the time it was a draw and I stand by that. -

Indeed, the government should hold up a mirror to itself. It always happens afterwards, nothing is ever checked, but is something does happen, the government is ready to punish.- 1

Flooding on Highway 118 (Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai Highway)
The Highway is flooded again in two areas in the Wiang Pa Pao Valley - both near the Town of Pa Ngio. One lane is open at the first spot (about 1 km NE of the Town); intermittently closed/one lane a bit closer to Wiang Pa Pao. The Pa Ngio reservoir has overflowed it banks taking a part of the walls of the reservoir with it. -

You may be right about US prices, I have heard quite a few horror stories. But it looks like you are quite mistaken about prices in most of Europe. -

Thailand mourns tragic school bus fire claiming multiple young lives
Thailand mourns tragic school bus fire claiming multiple young lives A tragic school bus fire in Pathum Thani claimed the lives of over 20 students and teachers, with bodies found near the back of the bus. The incident occurred while 38 students and 6 teachers were en route to a learning centre. The fire was likely caused by a tyre explosion and contact with a barrier, causing panic as the bus filled with smoke. While some escaped, others were trapped. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra expressed deep sorrow and visited the victims. The government covers medical expenses and compensates families. -
