Suspect Arrested in Phuket After Six Years for Allegedly Stabbing Another Person During Songkran 2017

Phuket – A suspect was arrested in Phuket after he allegedly stabbed and severely injured another man six years ago during Songkran 2017 in Prachin Buri.

 

Police from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) told the Phuket Express that they have arrested the suspect, identified only as Mr. Jirapong, 33, in front of a hotel in Sakoo, Thalang. He is being accused of attempted murder.

 

The arrest came after during the Songkran festival six years ago, while he was celebrating and drinking alcohol with his friends, he got into a fight with a teenager in Prachin Buri, Central Thailand.

Self-defense "possibly" but think more to it and more reporting needed.

I would like to know how many friends of Mr. Jirapong there were and if it was just an all-out brawl.  More reporting......as usual!
