Popular Post snoop1130
Thailand looks set to enter this year’s rainy season next Monday. It will last through to mid-October and signals the end of the long hot summer, with a forecast for about 5% less than average rainfall, according to the Meteorological Department. Most of Thailand is forecast to see more rain as high-altitude air currents, about 3.5km from the surface, will change direction to south-westerly, while the higher-altitude currents will turn easterly. These weather fluctuations are forecast to bring humidity from the Andaman Sea across the country, said the Weatherman, adding that, during June and July, Thailand may experience a shortage of rainfall, leading to droughts in some areas, especially outside irrigation zones. 473geo
Looks like June and July may not be a very rainy season for some Lets hope enough to get crops established and not too much in August and September to flatten them

Popular Post connda
Dry season expected to end next Monday with the arrival of rainy season I am soooo ready. I hate this time of year. Between the oppressive heat and the air quality, there is nothing good about it with the exception that a lot of the local trees bloom this time of year. If the air quality didn't suck so bad, it would be beautiful. Anyway, I need to get the "project" cannabis plants out of their pots and into the ground and good soaking rains would help that venture along. ???? 3

Corn crop dies dairy farmers will cut the plants for they cow's, then the landowner will re-seed when the rains come again.

It's boiling hot and humid everyday. We are now in the build up to the wet season. Couple of months to go until it really breaks. 1 1

I do not know where you live, but this time last year corn crop were 2-foot-tall rains come early, when we grew corn, last time 8 years ago it was between now and end of May when we drilled corn, that is after a good week plus of rain beforehand. This year things are late, only thing growing is sugar cane and cassava only because it has been irrigated. 2 1

My first Hot Season in Thailand (Just Married in January) and it has to be to be the worst anyone can remember, even in our village. ????I have had air con fitted in the bathroom so I can have a shower and get dry otherwise in a perpetual 'moist' state since I would break out sweating immediately after the shower. 1
