Former Defense Department special counsel Ryan Goodman said the audio, and what Trump reportedly said in it, raised the former president’s “criminal exposure.”

 

“War plans are among the most highly classified documents,” Goodman wrote on Twitter. “Puts pressure on DOJ to indict, and a jury to convict.” “Make no mistake. This is squarely an Espionage Act case. It is not simply an ‘obstruction’ case,” Goodman added.

 

“There is now every reason to expect former President Trump will be charged under 18 USC 793(e) of the Espionage Act. The law fits his reported conduct like a hand in glove.”

With more and more information coming out everyday, regarding Trumps indiscretions, the sooner an indictment is made and he is prosecuted the sooner the US can move forward.  Still stuck in an endless Trump loop.  Time to move on from Trump and heal the nation he is still dividing.

Trump inherited a trending economy from Obama and then it declined under his watch while the national debt skyrocketed. He turned America into a pariah nation and made himself a laughing stock. He's the only president in history to be found guilty of sexual assault in a court and may well be the only one to go to jail. His only lasting legacy is 30,000 lies, apart from a crippling interest bill on the debt he incurred. 

 

White supremacist hate groups exploded under his watch as did racial hate crimes and mass shootings. A record number of his cronies had to resign or be fired, a dozen of then=m have been indicted for federal crimes and he associated himself with a wide array of cronies. He fostered the hate groups and encouraged them to mount an insurrection in his name which sent many of them to jail for decades, convicted of conspiracy charges.

 

What did the Abrahamic accords achieve? Nothing. He also made the Palestinian problem significantly worse. Few more despicable public figures have ever lived.

The reason the 2020 case has moved so slowly is that Trump was sued by Carroll while he was the current US President.

Grand jury in Trump classified documents case expected to meet this coming week after hiatus

The federal grand jury that has been hearing evidence in the Justice Department’s investigation of former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents is expected to meet again this coming week in Washington, according to multiple people familiar with the investigation.

Prosecutors working for Special Counsel Jack Smith have been presenting the grand jury with evidence and witness testimony for months, but activity appeared to have slowed in recent weeks based on observations at the courthouse and sources.

It’s unclear whether prosecutors are prepared to seek an indictment at this point. The Justice Department would not comment on the status of the investigation.
