Popular Post webfact Posted June 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2023 On June 3rd, 2023, the Facebook page called "Want to be famous? Arrange a return part 6" shared a picture that captured the attention of many. The image showcased a girl sitting on a flimsy plastic seat added inside a passenger van, reported Siam Rath. The post highlighted the potential danger associated with these extra seats with a message that read: "I have evidence to file a complaint... The transportation system in Nakhon Si Thammarat province needs immediate attention... They are cramming in extra seats..." In addition to raising awareness, the poster kindly requested all members of the Konland group to take notice of the issue at hand. Expressing her frustration, the girl wrote:"I want to understand where equality stands in situations like these. Here we are, patiently waiting in line to board the Nakhon Si Thammarat-Thung Song van. We made reservations and paid for our tickets in advance, but to our disappointment, there weren't enough seats available. In such cases, shouldn't they prioritize passengers? It seems only fair that those who arrived first should board first. However, in this instance, those who arrived before us managed to secure the extra seats, which were not even originally part of the van's seating arrangement. I demand fairness and an explanation for this unsettling situation. I feel extremely upset about it." proton Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Never yet been in a van with working seat belts, they are usually tied up or useless if you try them. 1
rbkk Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 I was given the plastic stool once and the row in front got a wooden plank so 2 extra passengers could be sqeezed in! This used to quite normal. Thankfully there are new micro busses on that upgraded route now. 2
jacko45k Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 I have seen a plastic chair produced to accommodate one extra passenger, but it was not in the aisle.. more so a safety concern. 1
Popular Post Dmaxdan Posted June 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2023 When it comes road to safety, nobody cares about people riding in the back of pickups so why do they believe anyone is going to care about someone sitting on a plastic chair in a mini van? 2 3 1

ezzra Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 How about a crackdown on those rouge mini van operators? Oh I forgot, the police is busy cracking down on foreigners, you know, the real criminals, visa overstays and alike. 1 1

All passengers paid for their seats, the issue is that more passengers than seats were sold. Priority was given to guests on apparently a first come-first serve basis for a seat. Unless the operator refuses to refund seatless paying passengers nor provide another van for paying passenger overflow, there is no prioritizing profit.
