Iran: The West cannot stop us from building nuclear weapons but a deal is possible

The West cannot stop Iran from building nuclear weapons, the country's supreme leader has said.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was speaking on Sunday as tensions continue to mount over the country's nuclear work.

 

In words reported by state media, he said: "Talks about Tehran's nuclear weapons is a lie and [the West] know it.

"We do not want nuclear arms based on our beliefs, otherwise they would not have been able to stop it."

A deal with the West over the nuclear programme is possible, the supreme leader said, but only if Tehran can keep its nuclear infrastructure intact.

IMO  , the US is a major cause of Nuclear proliferation.  

Gaddafi, did not have them and we all know what happen to him. 

Kim Jong Un has them and grows fat.

Moral of the story, if you don't want to play ball with the US , you better get nuclear weapons. Otherwise you are toast. Dont think Iran has missed the point

I often wonder if Trump didn’t wreck the nuclear deal would we be paying so much for gas would Iran be supplying Russia with weapons a lot of what ifs im old enough to remember when we were friends.we were taking baby steps in that direction untle trump wrecked it.before we hear the cry’s of irans  bad deeds I can’t believe how they did the deal with Saudi Arabia heck their citizens did 9/11 now they have taken over golf just beggars belief
