Phuket – A suspect who was arrested after he stole a car from a Finnish man in Phuket was an illegal taxi driver who had just been released from a prison.
 

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) released more details on the case this week. The foreign victim was identified as Mr. Iram Amity, Finnish national. The suspects name is Mr. Suwit ‘Jack’ Jantaharn, 32, who is facing charges of theft. Officers found that Suwit had just been released from a prison.

 

Suwit admitted to police that he is now an illegal taxi driver after he was released from prison for theft.
