Society carries a lot of millennia old baggage and even as we see some things evolve and focus on the do not harm aspects, strong prejudices will remain and could take another generation to get over for those stuck in there ways. I'm not judging I have some of my own prejudices that are not exactly woke and I can see a level of them not exactly being totally rationale.

 

In time we may get to the point its like going out for a meal and having someone else provide that services compared to cooking at home, its just a service like any other, cutting your own hair or going to the hairdresser for example.  When it gets to this view a lot of the other corrupt associated practices will also hopefully become redundant.

I can't speak for HiSo bars in Bangkok, but Thai bars in Pattaya that have bargirls are nothing like Farang bars. No Short Time rooms, no barfines, and customers buy bottles, not drinks.

 

If a customer wants to go with a lady, it's outside business hours.

Danderman I did not say bars I said some bars and rooms near the bar. You made it sound like i said bars in Pattaya. Can any members who live in Patters confirm to me that there are indeed short-time rooms in SOME bars? and even hotels used solely by the girls for short - time.

They are all aimed at Thais (or Asians generally) in Bangkok.  You'll find most of them in the Ratchada area.

Prostitutes are prostitutes, far and away most, but not all bar girls are prostitutes.
