yeah yeah, so you keep saying, i bet you'll be gone in a few years, off with the tail between your legs getting on benefits

“off with the tail between your legs getting on benefits”

You been drinking?  Not making sense.  Maybe your roommate can decipher.

I leave every year.  Sometimes twice a year back home.

Unlike you and many others living on a shoestring budget.  I’m not stuck here.

You don't even understand simple well known sentences, I'll try and keep it simple for you, couldn't care less how often you leave

Best to stay off the bottle when posting.

You’re incoherent at best.

Stuck in Pattaya forever.  How miserable you must be without proper income streams.

You are in a relationship with a Thai lady, but you are buying lady drinks in Pattaya bars?

If the bar owners paid a proper living wage the girls wouldn’t need to beg for drinks.

Part of the business model is that they get a basic wage and work for the rest. The girls know that when they take the job.

Bit like a salesman getting a meagre salary and earning commission on his sales to make it reasonable.

Meager Salary??  Sir I dont consider 20,000 baht for a 10 day contract in the GoGos a meager salary.....And thats before any of the extra money makers....

I would be more than pleased to have 2,000 baht a day to live off of....

It's meagre, not meager - even the spell check agrees! 😎

And if you care to read my post, I was referring to a salesman in my example.

Meager is American-English spelling, meagre is British-English spelling.

I am a regular in a very popular bar in LK Metro and I never have paid lady drink prices...in this particular bar they are 140 baht...being a regular quite a few of the girls come for a chat and they know that if I tell them do they want to have a Beer with me it is Tamada...same price as mine...OK now understand?

They have a table outside that usually has... among other drinks...a bottle of Sangsom for the girls whack between themselves...I have on several occasions bought a bottle from 7/11 for them to share....but buy lady drinks no.... that's not me...I leave that to the tourists

I note the replies doubting what you say. I'm amazed anyone doubts this. They must live under a rock. Incredible stuff.

These girls ain't stupid. They know the difference between a tourist, a cheap charlie and a guy that plays the game.

Precisely.... Meagre is the King's English, not some colonial attempt 🙄😆

Joking aside, the spellchecker on here agreed with me as I said - of course my computer is set as English (UK)...quite right and proper, doncha know ☺

Just another example of a differing, preferred USA spelling.

If I ever go to a girlie bar which is rare, I just say would you like a drink or 100 baht while you have a chat with me. They always say 100 baht
