I remember a few years ago I would see these signs in Bangkok cliaming its  more fun in the Philippines.

it got me wondering, is it really?

Im always reassesing my situation and im not at that stage yet, but the phils seems like a decent place to go when one is bord of Thailand.

The phils girls i have met so far in Thailand have all been super friendly, bubbly, and sexy as hell

if i were to leave mrs smith for a filipino girl it woud be a last resort but I think you could do a lot worse.

 

saying that, thailand really has gone downhill the last 10 years

everyone seems depressed and miserable.

the girls only want your money/girly drink whatever

but the filipino girls seem like a hoot a minute,

 

infact, i would love a young filipino bird on the side, and I may just be on the hunt in 2024.

I would look at the youtuber Shaun King 'Vlogging a dead horse' bit of a nutter but his vids of the Philippines sure put me off of ever going.

The Philippines, as Thailand, used to be a mongering haven back 20 or so years ago, not so much now where mafia type are controlling the bar/girly scenes and prices are up there far cray from days of yore.

It's essentially the same game in a different country.

For me it's not more fun, but it is as much fun, same as Cambodia and Vietnam.

 

BUT, if you're one of those guys that wants to talk with his bed partners the Filipino ladies are well ahead in the game. They talk our language, watch our movies, listen to our music and understand our humour and culture.The people are generally more friendly than Thais, and it's easy to make pals with guys or girls (something impossible in Thailand), and they do actually appear to like foreigners.

 

Not to mention it's really easy for a foreigner to live in the Philippines compared to Thailand. No income or savings required.

Plus for us Brits you get pension inflation increases. Quite a bit now with 10.1% inflation, 7% next year?

from my five years there I would say that is debateable,
