Iv'e been on a Sabaticle for a few days so I have been unable to post but i'm back now. In my country Door Security ie Bouncers have to go on a course and once obtained there pass has to be displayed on his arm or on his clothing visable to customers. The Thai security staff seen in this Vid are just thugs they show there toughness by kicking an old man on the floor realy hard men. At the end of the day is it ok to kick the crap out of an old drunk man when he is on the floor or wade in 3 handed to attack the Son.

Thats old fat drunk man that come over to give it large after the situation was diffused.

So let's get to the point if you are drunk and old and in your 60s unable to defend yourself when 3 younger Thais are kicking the crap out of you when you're on the floor you think its acceptable and deserving.

So let's get to the point if you are drunk and old and in your 60s unable to defend yourself  you have made a really poor life decision to give it large to some young Thai bouncers thinking you have a chance of coming out a winner.

A 20yo shouldnt fight bouncers. A 60yo should know better. Plonkers father and son. Neither of them has a gf. Both overweight by 50kgs. Both cannot handle their drink. Go sign up for a 3 month fitness course.

They're obese.

3 months not enough, it'll take at least 3 years in the gym

Actually, if you're a tough person, you don't need to resort to kicking someone in the back, after stomping on them. A tough person would think nothing of a little slap and just escort the person out, especially if they are supposed to be a bouncer, which is what a real bouncer does. If it was a punch and not a slap, then you punch back, hard enough to wake the person up. Like has been mentioned many times on this forum, locals need to resort to ganging up 4 or 5 against 1, all the same size, and hit with sticks and kicking. Not referring to Muay Thai fighters, who can handle themselves, and don't need to pick fights, The average local here does what we see daily, and I've not only noticed this for 6 years, but heard it many years before I ever moved here, both by foreigners and Thais back in the US.  I've known a few Brits, and they weren't weak men. Just average in build. Hard to judge a whole nation from a few retirees. Each case is individual. A small man that's fast can beat a large man who's slow. A large man that puts his weight behind his punches can deck a small man very easily. Being tough isn't having to kick. Kicking, unless you're in a stand up fight, isn't something a tough person does, but a coward. And kicking isn't stomping on someone's back. There are specific kicks you learn training. Not kicking wildly as I see on TV almost everyday. That's for those that can't hurt with their fists.

Jesus wept, I'm going to start a Go Fund me page for this fellow. he needs help.

Right, how dare they to defend themselves after they got hit first! And by the way, when someone attacks you you have the right to take them out so they can’t continue to attack you, it’s called self-defense, which is exactly what they did! The Brit’s should’ve kept their hands to themselves and accept the fact that they were asked to leave and that’s all there is to it!

Incorrect - there is a big difference in legal terms between self-defence and retaliation.

The bouncers actions without doubt were an act of retaliation.

And please stop the Chav wording " Givin it large " so he is over weight so what would you lot on here think it was funny if he was put into a coma or kicked to Death due to this pack because thats all they are. Funny it took more than 1 to eject A drunk old man Typical.

We do not speak like that in the UK.

I feel sorry for you if you think there is any justification in the thai practice of mass attacking elderly men and women, kicking and stomping on their heads with impunity as long as they are foreigners. It really sickens me at the "they must have done something wrong attitude". Sick and sad people. Again a slap is a reaction not aggression (something happened right before that slap, something you never saw and my guess is "spat on").

I'm not justifying their actions, I'm calling the old man a damned fool and saying he started it.  Based on the available evidence, he swung first.  I'm not surprised that go-go bouncers in a town full of drunking hooligans had a violent reaction to what you minimize as a mere "slap."    I'm not say that "he must have done something wrong," i'm saying he does something wrong right on video.  No matter what they said to him, it's not OK for him to "slap" them. By the way, have you ever been slapped open handed to the side of your head by a man twice your size?  This can cause deafness, brain damage, etc.  Do you care about that?  Nope, just defend the violent rowdy drunk.

You say " It really sickens me at the "they must have done something wrong attitude".  But you defend this guy attacking them based on "a slap is a reaction."  Which is exactly the same argument.  They must have done something wrong to provoke him, so he slapped them.  Escalating to violence was his choice.  He paid the price is how it looks to me, as hooligans tend to do.

I don't have the full story, but at least I'm going by the evidence presented.

Yep, with the right attitude and ambition but these fools would have very little ambition.

Their diet would be fish and chips only

Someone should inform father and son about this thread so they can come here and explain what really happened.

No posses needed if you want revenge. People get shot everyday from revenge, here, there and everywhere. Acquiring a gun is possible anywhere if you have money.

:cheesy:

So a tourist can acquire a gun? Do tell.

More likely, if a tourist was indeed able to do so, the seller would be informing the cops about it. I doubt any Thai wants farangs running around shooting other Thais.

Your scenario sounds more like something out of a thriller movie than real life.

Speaking English doesn't matter. You grab them, with help if need be, and bring them outside and release them. In this case, bring them away from the bar front.

I don't know how long you have lived in LOS, but that isn't what happens in the Thailand I know and love.

In my experience of LOS any farang that causes a problem in a bar gets dealt with and Thais don't play by Queensbury rules.

I certainly don't believe that the Brit guys were behaving themselves to get dealt to. I spent thousands of hours in Thai bars over my time and no farang behaving themselves got beaten up. I only ever saw one such instance and in that case the farang deserved the beating he got.

If you watch the video it's clear what happened.

Son was in argument with bouncers, father comes running over from another bar, rudely joins in the argument and smacks the bouncer.

Bouncers reacts appropriately, teaching the old guy a lesson. Life lessons that the old guys parents should have done, (POOR PARENTING, I reckon it's a hand me down, the old guy is handing poor parent down to his son).

Son looks on in disbelief, as his father is laying on the ground blocking traffic getting a kicking.

Son stands by thinking 'my dad is a goose'.

What a proud father son moment ????

copped a touched up what does this mean? I thought they were both asked to leave a bar. maybe they just happen to be walking past the bar. if as you say he was not ejected from the bar.

Well let's hope you don't get the crap kicked out of you if you're already down.

Getting the crap kicked out of you if you're down is the only way to teach some people.

I bet the fool won't be so stupid next time.

LESSONS LEARNT ????

Maybe you should go to Patong there are many stories reported of Thai security staff attacking tourists just the same as this case 2-3 ganging up when a tourist is on the floor getting the crap kicked out of them. plenty on U tube.

I do not believe that Thai security guards attack tourists for no reason.

Having been in both Patong and Pattaya for years, I never saw such without a reason. To the contrary, I have experienced tourists that deserved the beating they never got.

Tourist females don't normally behave in a way they deserve to get beaten up, in Thailand.
