Instead of wasting these new uniforms , they should start to work, do their job.. instead of new uniforms

That goes for the UK Police as well.

Do the cops have to pay for them or are they issued free?

And do they keep the same uniform when they have put on several extra inches around the belly?

Why do they have to be so skin tight? Especially in this climate. Look like they are made of some synthetic material as well, so must be really hot to wear. Are they designed that way? Or is it a "police fashion that they all seem to choose a size smaller? Even the fat ones.

A bit of day-glo might make them more visible at dusk as well. It is possible to buy reflective materials in fluorescent colours so it serves two purposes.

e.g. That white armband in fluorescent green reflective would be much more effective.

The traffic police in the UK are almost impossible to miss in almost any conditions. Their cars motorbikes and uniforms are covered in the stuff.

Exactly. Who would design something like that? I

Dark uniforms against a dark background at night is not going to increase safety. Missing reflective material on helmets and uniforms.

In a significant development, the Royal Thai Police are set to equip their traffic officers with brand-new field-ready uniforms.

This move aims to bolster officer safety, agility, and overall performance while they carry out their essential duties on the roads, reported Thai Rath.

The decision to allocate funds for these new uniforms reflects the police force's commitment to ensuring the well-being of their personnel and the effectiveness of their operations.

According to Pol. Col. Arthayon Kraithong, the spokesperson for the National Police Bureau, this marks a historic moment as it's the first time such a specialized uniform will be provided to traffic officers.

The uniforms will be introduced nationwide on September 15, signifying a significant step in modernizing the police force's attire and operational approach.

The new uniform design, approved by Pol. Lt. Gen. Dhamrong Sakulkitphaisal, the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, incorporates reflective elements for enhanced visibility, particularly during nighttime operations.

The uniform also retains key features from the existing anti-crime uniforms, such as the white thread sewn onto a uniform color patch, establishing a sense of uniformity within the police force.

The spokesperson highlighted that the decision to introduce these field-ready uniforms reflects the force's recognition of the vital role traffic officers play in maintaining public safety and order on the roads.

By providing them with specialized attire, the police force aims to improve their comfort, mobility, and visibility, contributing to better service delivery and safer road management.

The allocation of funds for these new uniforms demonstrates the Royal Thai Police's dedication to supporting its officers and enhancing their capabilities as they work tirelessly to ensure the well-being of the public.

You are thinking too much .. the BiB use their uniform to blend in with the environment, like urban camo. They aren’t there to stand out and be visible, more like hide in the shadows with a speed gun. If they had hi-viz jackets, it would be like taking a pay cut.

As always, all set for duty in . . . Alaska.  No wonder they never venture outside.  I'm sweating at just the thought of wearing something like that in Thailand.

Looks a bit uncomfortable for sitting around in all day doing <deleted> all.

The three sets of wing insignia supplied with each tunic will keep the wearer cool when flapped. And who among you would not die to have a 'Myrtle ribbon' on your shirt. ????

It'll take more than uniforms to boost "performance". A good boot up the ar$e is what most of 'em need.
