webfact Posted August 28, 2023 Share Posted August 28, 2023 Police in Bangkok have arrested a Cambodian couple, charged with pickpocketing shoppers in the capital and entering the kingdom illegally. Nation Thailand reports that the arrests were announced by Bangkok police at a press conference yesterday, August 27. The couple is accused of stealing from over 100 shoppers at various Bangkok malls. They have been named as 31 year old Boy “Bui” Yangha and his wife, 27 year old Som “Mary” Jean. According to poluceg, both were arrested in front of the room they were renting at the Sup Asia Apartment building on Soi Sukhumvit 111, in Samut Prakan, just outside Bangkok, on Saturday.
