Pattaya — Pattaya Police patrolled Pattaya Beach half an hour past midnight on Tuesday, August 29th, to intervene on potentially violent incidents, primarily caused by teenagers.

Pol. Lt. Col. Pichit Chamhuab, suppression inspector of the Pattaya Police Station, led a team of officers, consisting of patrol officers and officers from the Special Operations Command Unit, to conduct an inspection and search for legal violations at Pattaya Beach today following a recent shooting that injured two young teenagers on Pattaya Beach.

Police conducted random checks on groups of teenagers gathered on the beach using a metal detector to prevent them from secretly concealing weapons.
