Yes a Swedish friend of a friend died in jail about 3 weeks ago because he ran out of medication for a pre exixting health problem.  He had no money for meds so they let him die.

All OK, all good - everyone is the same in the eye of the Thai law. Some are just more equal than others and I had this idiotic imagination, that it might be related to some mail, envelopes or statements - but, as said, imagination only ????

How many prisoners have been helicoptered from prison to hospital this year? How many of those in the middle of the night?

 

How many of those prisoners who have reported that they feel sick have been given the opportunity to see a doctor within say 24 hours?

 

How many of those prisoners who did get to see a doctor were taken to hospital? How many were fobbed off with a bag of paracetamol or the likes?

 

That would go a long way to establish that it's standard procedure for a sick inmate to be helicoptered to hospital in the middle of the night. Or not.

The Govt hospital in handcuss and leg chains… just hope if you’re banged up you get some special treatment… Note 79 years old no handcuffs….

Sounds like it is time to bus the people down and voice their opinions on why he is getting 5-star treatment, bring all the families down whose relatives are not getting the same treatment and who are suffering in prisons around the country. and that he should also be behind bars not having 10 visitors a day if he is so ill, perhaps someone can find out if he also has a phone.

They come up with all this junk say It with a straight face all do with a nice haircut freshly dyed hair black. I think these guys actually believe what they are selling.

Who could have predicted Toxsin would basically spend zero time in prison.  By all accounts he was just put in some five star executive hospital prison.  Probably had his own wing.

 

And Thailand wonders why they can't seem to get rid of their corruption problem.  It's because it's coming from the top down.

His illness is not contagious ,and prisoners are allowed to make phone calls, maybe no land line In his room????

Now I have more life-threatening condition than he has where is my helicopter?

Some time ago I asked my gf about corrupt officials in her local administration. And she told me something similar to: That's part of the job. If they wouldn't make that extra money who would want that job. Like this is well understood by everyone, why do you ask?

There was the Pan Am bomber (killed 270 people) jailed for life in UK, then released in 2009 on "compassionate grounds" as it was thought he was dying of cancer, tho given a life sentence. He died 3 yrs later in 2012. Got a hero's welcome in Libya, I recall....
