Buses are dangerous. Motorbikes arent dangerous if you pick your spots. I feel safer on a mb than a bus.

Well said. I have been all over Thailand with Derek and he was the most amazing rider, he tought me alot.

Both times I came off in my biking days and idiot car driver was involved, any indication what happened??

Very sad to hear about the demise of another UK expat and fellow motorcycling enthusiast.  In the last year two of my British acquaintances have been killed in motorcycling accidents - take care out there...

It really doesn't matter what you feel.

 

The fact is: 80% or more of road fatalities in Thailand are people on a motorcycle.

 

But it's your risk. You do you, man.
