  • Kwasaki would not like to hear you talk about the risks involved with his motorcycling.............????   He 100% new the risks, but the love of his hobby was paramount to him.............

  • Nobody needs to tell us bikers about the danger ,look how many people die from cancer or something else and have not had the frills. Derek is riding his fireblade in the clouds so let's just say goodb

  • This is NOT the time or the place for this kind of sentiment! Go do your worrying elsewhere.

It really doesn't matter what you feel.

The fact is: 80% or more of road fatalities in Thailand are people on a motorcycle.

But it's your risk. You do you, man.

So sad to hear this news about a long time and very active member of this community.  I always found his posts to be informative and thought provoking, and he came across as a great character and a true biker.

I remember a post from years ago when he explained that his screen name was a spelling mistake when setting up his account - but it stuck.

Take care out there all .... and have a ride in his honour.

Hey, drop it, if you want to talk about road safety, go elsewhere and start your own thread....????

I did enjoy Derek's contribution and he'll surely be missed.

RIP Fellow Biker

Sad news, rest in peace ...????

Good to have some info, I gather he was a fellow Brit, and saw his bike in one post..., so how long did he live and ride in Thailand, how old, what was the circumstances...  ?

I am sure that he would appreciate that.

As a receiver of thoughtful, helpful Kwasaki advice on this forum.  I say...

Rest in Peace Kwasaki.  You are missed.
