It's on topic if someone else wants to bring you back to a certain tunnel vision that is not in line with your opinion. I do not wonder why?

Wrong. Tunnel vision is claiming the death of 42 press staff after 7th Oct is off topic. It’s not, who told you?

Trudeau also said Hamas needed to stop using Palestinians as human shields and should release all its hostages.

I think (my opinion) France and US engaged in providing dedicated troops to do humanitarian work to evacuate Palestinian refugees. These troops can/should not be put into direct combat with Hamas.

Latest racial tendencies in Israel and Palestine against Palestinians doesn't allow a fair treatment if refugees need humanitarian work/aid directly from IDF.

Just my 2 cents...

Notice the word "racial". The antisemites and anti americans love that word.

Problem with you, and many other posters is that you see things in black and white. I'm not talking about the Hamas attack, though - that was as black as it gets. But with regard to the history of the conflict, there's a tendency of 'supporters' to do wholesale blaming on the 'other side'. History is usually more complex than what political narratives allow for.

Disregarding that, this topic is, indeed, focused about events set in motion on the 7/10. It is impossible to discuss current events while constantly going back to historical points of detail, all the more so when these are dished as described above.

The fact you would like to keep it focused on the terrible atrocities by Hamas on the 7th, has in my opinion got to be compared to what has gone on before from all sides.

That and the fact the thread title is ISRAEL IS AT WAR!

i don't agree with all Thorgal posts. I don't agree with all yours. But both of you have a credible opinion in this terrible conflict.

I support the right of both of you to express your views without ridicule.

As for me not being liked. I'm as sad as a cooked snail about to be popped into a Bar girl's mouth.

Thanks for your honest feedback that I'm not in line with your opinion (sometimes)! Really appreciated.

You can keep trying to twist words about, no problem. There were enough management clarifications on the scope of this topic, it is you that choose to ignore them.

I have engaged many posters over the years regarding the history of the conflict, so it's not a question of unwillingness to do so, or being unable to make my points.

A time and a place and all that.

Trapped doctor on situation inside Al-Shifa after raid

Orla Guerin

Reporting from Jerusalem

We have managed to reach a doctor trapped inside Al-Shifa Hospital, a site of urgent humanitarian need that was entered by Israeli forces overnight.

Dr Ahmed Mokhallalati's frustration, anger and concern for his patients poured out, down the line.

He asked where the Red Cross and British and American governments were.
