Meanwhile in another part of Pattaya tourists were fighting  drunk and throwing up in the street or crashing their motor bikes into innocent Thais.

Thailand needs better education on how to dose these edibles.  But it sounds like they ate the whole cake.   Plus no telling how many milligrams

I think its more like Thailand needs to learn what is newsworthy and what is not.  They also need to learn what is unfounded propaganda and what is not though not many good examples coming out of the west they could look up to.

pffft  light weights heh

Unlikely it was of any quality, but eating is very different to smoking if it's the real deal.

They were way more panicked when they realised they had no medical insurance, and that they were on their way to the hospital to get multiple money enemas.

Because it is off-topic deflection.

Rookies

...with cookies.

Panic attacks are a common side effect from eating weed products.  I know two women who begged their boyfriends to take them to the hospital because they didn't know how to handle it.  One of the women was a wake n bake (like a few of the guys who comment in these dope threads) and she still couldn't handle the side effects from eating the stuff.

While there is no LD50 number for marijuana, to say that it's harmless is disingenuous; many people lose themselves and smoke the <deleted> every waking moment of their lives.  God help you if you're a teen with undiagnosed schizophrenia and you start hitting the bong because you'll get a lot more than you bargained for.  David Suzuki did a great documentary on the subject many years ago.

Let's see if this can be discussed without the dopers dragging out the alcohol strawman. The evils of demon liquor are well documented.
