Popular Post 007 RED
All credit to the motorcyclist travelling in both directions, in the short video clip... They are all wearing what appears to be very decent full face helmets and protective clothing. Unfortunately, this is something that the vast majority of motorcyclists, and their passengers, here in Thailand lack, which all to often results in fatal injuries when involved even in a low speed crash. Popular Post seajae
trouble is most thai riders/drivers are ignorant of the road rules and do as they please, I have lost count of the number of times when driving in the country we have been going around a blind corner with double lines and had a car or bike coming at us on our side of the road, thais simply do as they please. IN this case the rider was in the right, he was positioned correctly, the car driver just didnt want to be behind him so tried to overtake where he shouldnt has then swerved back in making the bike go down, hopefully he will lose his car paying for what the idiot did 3

Never mind allowing a pickup to pass me. Likely a slow going group. Sometimes speed kills. In Thailand often slowness kills. As a bike you block the lane. First thing they teach you. Second thing they teach you is to always keep a safety bubble. Bikers know what that means. Descending phu tha buek is not to be done at speed unless you want to die early.

Wuvu2
Why was a big bike going so slow that it wasn't keeping up with traffic? 2
Bangkok Barry
Thais believe that yellow lines are just for decoration, whether on the road or the side of escalators. The fact they are there as a warning would never occur to them. Having said that, the errant pickup clearly didn't actually encroach onto the wrong side of the road, but drove onto the lines. His fault was trying to overtake the bike when there wasn't room to do so.

I'm sure you are providing them with more than sufficient 'clicks' when double checking every link in every thread to load yourself up with ammunition while contributing nothing to the actual topics other than creating an argumentative atmosphere....
