A PROMINENT virologist said yesterday (Oct. 19) that some patients in Thailand have been infected with both Covid-19 and influenza at the same time and those who fall seriously sick should get tested for both of them, Matichon newspaper said.

Dr. Yong Poovorawan, head of the Centre of Excellence in Clinical Virology at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, said in his Facebook post that  when several respiratory viruses spread at the same time it is possible to be co-infected with Covid-19 and flu.

Laboratory tests conducted when both Covid-19 and flu viruses were spreading heavily have  shown co-infection in some patients.

I propose that we name it 'Covenza' 🤣

My sister works as nurse in an NHS hospital in the UK. The Health Authority instructions to her if she feels unwell are NOT to to test for Covid but to stay at home until recovered and well. No need for scare tactics. Treat as if a cold/flu. Protect yourselves and others sensibly.

There is  nothing wrong about getting vaccinated, as a handful of people still die from Covid every day. But where in Thailand are the new vaccines? And remember, in Thailand they discount food that is way past the "use by date". Same for bargirls BTW.

All UK hospitals test every admission for covid, no matter what you are admitted for. However if you are an employee, nah, not so much.  Crazy way to run a hospital.

I really hope covid comes back.  It's been some of the best days of my life.  I think I am made for a post apocalyptical world.

Covid. I forgot. What is that?

An experiment during a period of time where governments around the world exerted almost total control over their citizens.

So what. Very suprised getting vaccinated is not to be found in this article.

The common cold on steroids, but now back to second sauce behind the Flu. Been dealing with a cold for the last week, it may have been Covid, who knows, who cares....LOL

Three syllables good, two syllables better.

oh...... the man of height will be along before you can say " willyoupleasestopthepasteand postmost ofusknow betterbynow"

If you're in the NW of Spain, possibly think twice before telling people you have a bad case of the Covid Pirola variant.

Tested for both?

I don't see that happening.  Very expensive.

That might have been the general belief a year or two ago, but much has come to light about the negative sides of COVID-19 vaccinations since then. We are able to discuss it now as governments are finally starting to release statistics on excess deaths correlated to the vaccination periods from 2021 - 2022. You need to get up to speed.

Well you need to  quote your sources. Especially when excess deaths from 2021-2022 are  being correlated to vaccinations and not to Covid.  :cheesy:

looks like you edited out the good part .     5555    i kinda like this version : " trying to get the real facts accepted by the brick walls at AN  is like walking into speeding Bangkok traffic "  https:/misssionimpossible.con

There's no need to quote sources as this is an informal discussion and the information is very easy to find online. If you believe vaccinations are good for you, that's your choice. You're lucky you had a choice as many didn't and lost their jobs if they didn't want to be vaccinated.

Dr. Yong back to spread fear-porn.

I'm trying to be a good boy as I was recently warned for the Xth time about my tendency to "spread medical misinformation". :1zgarz5:

It would be interesting to audit Dr. Yong's bank accounts and note any unusually large payments received over the past 3 years, and who from.

Its good advice for those at risk, especially the flu as if diagnosed then you can get better medications to help, they don't dish it out unless tested for it.

Why is influenza lumped in with pneumonia in the statistics?  It's labeled as P&I for those who don't know.  Perhaps, influenza is not differentiated in its symptoms from pneumonia?  And perhaps, just perhaps, there is no differentiation with CV19?  Perhaps that was why influenza disappeared in the first year of CV19 and that was why the same number of people died from CV19 in the first year as P&I the previous year?

Dr, Drew warns about permanent heart damage due to Covid shots.

https://www.wnd.com/2023/10/watch-dr-drew-warn-permanent-heart-damage-covid-shots/

"Dr. Drew on the new study shows 50% of young men who got myocarditis after the vaccine now have permanent heart damage and he doesn’t understand why this isn’t front page news. And he recommends injured students sue any school that mandated it."

Yet some idiots  will read this as "50% of young men got permanent heart damage from Covid vaccines", while only one in a million may have gotten myocarditis and only one in two million have permanent heart damage, which may be symptomatic or not.

Manipulating idiots is the bread and butter of way too many outlets on the web.

So you don't need any sources, to spread disinformation? I'll take a note of that.
