I'm so happy the celebs approve, as now I can sleep at night, knowing the best minds are in agreement.

I get the PR angle, but honestly - who cares what they think. It's not like most of them have much insight into these matters.

Hamas doesn't seem too bothered by these deaths.

Why should these people care for Palestinian children more than Palestinian leadership does?

Because that's what civilized people do.  They care for innocents.

The Israeli government is firstly committed to care about Israeli citizens. The expectation that it will care more for the Palestinians than the Palestinian government is...interesting.

Now, I know some on here will come and say 'but Hamas is a terrorist organization' - and that would be correct. But in more than one place in the ME, there are hybrid organizations, which have both military and political elements. So while Hamas is a terrorist organization, it's is also a political party and even the elected (long time ago, granted) government. Not too different from Lebanon's Hezbollah, by the way.

Given the constant rise in dead Palestinian children, one wonders how long before those "celebrities" realise they are not on the right side of history, and start walking back their praise for a POTUS obviously not serious about a "pause" let alone a ceasefire.

Meanwhile in the UN a speaker has stated that israel IS committing a war crime. As seen on Al Jazeera.

Not so long ago they would not have said that.

Looks like Hezbollah is going to get involved if the attacks don't stop, cue Iran and the wider conflict that America is so eager to prevent will be all on.

Saying war crimes were committed is not quite the same as legally demonstrating it. Usually quite a long process involved. Also, not by any means a rare statement - other than in your mind.

The last line is delusional, alternate reality - the crux of Nasrallah's speech was that the Hamas are on their own.
