All the Countries you travelled to which Country had the rudest people and why?

 

I'm going on people pushing in lines , not bring polite ,friendly etc 

 

I must say The Philippines was one of them for me 

People running to the bus pushing each other to get on, young people pushing to get seats on the train , 

 

Staff at some places rude , there seem to be no smiles in Manila , wouldn't be a country I would say they are over friendly certainly not

 

 

 

 

 

How to have smiles when they are rushing to have food on the table....

My country. France.

You can't beat that unique mix of arrogance, conservatism, unjustified sense of superiority, primitive sense of humor, laziness, intellectual dishonesty, sens of entitlement and gaslighting tendencies...

Usually ex colonial / imperial powers have horrid mentalities.

Brits, Egyptians, Chinese, etc...

I ordered a meal in airport. It sat there cold for 20 minutes. They didnt tell me it was ready.

If drunks were a nationality they would of course be the worst, especially groups of young males who are drunk.

 

I would say Chinese and Russians but in different ways.

Just my limited experience and I have much more experience with Chinese than I do with Russians.

 

Chinese are just clueless, as if dropped here from another planet.

No sense of personal space and very loud.

Slack jawed yokels, blocking public walkways and entrances to elevators etc.

But no malice in my opinion.

 

Russians seem hateful and are physically aggressive for no reason.

Pushing their way onto a baht bus or in a store aisle.

My friend tells me it's from years of elbowing their way to the front of the bread line.

 I totally agree. I have never visited China but have encountered its rude people on many of my travels in ASEAN, especially at airports. 

Remember the Chinese woman who crouched and pi..ed on the platform of a BTS station in Bangkok.

When I was a TP Volunteer based in Chiang Rai, this was another regular problem at the famous White Temple:

 

 ..............when he saw the mess left by the tourists (Chinese) in the restrooms, which are just as ornate as the rest of the temple. A Thai visitor complained of used tissue on the floor and faeces on the toilet seats. So..... banned all Chinese henceforth.

This ban was rescinded after tour guides had been warned. I understand additional toilet blocks were constructed for use by the Chinese.

Should have said the older Chinese, the younger ones are very polite and have excellent English language skills.

But the second group, well there's no hope, as their English language skills are pretty much zero.😃
