Thailand Cracks Down: Police to Monitor Foreign Nationals Closely
The harmony is being disrupted and the moral fabric of society is being torn apart by evil foreigners. There is a chance the locals might get corrupted. They might be engaging in behavior and immorality never before seen on these pure and pristine shores. Oh my. Those pesky foreigners and spoiling the nation. They are to blame for most of the nations woes. Bad, bad boys. -

Trump says Zelensky ‘should have never started’ war with Russia
What's going on now with the "peace" negotiations highlights what's going to happen with NATO in general. If Putin invades a Baltic country, will Trump respect Article 5? If Putin invades a friendly to Putin state like Hungary and Hungary accepts it, what would NATO do if the invaded government doesn't care?' Is it only a matter of time until Trump pulls the U.S. out of NATO entirely? -

Thailand Faces Severe Air Pollution Crisis as PM2.5 Levels Soar
Girlfriend and I do pickup trash. Everybody in our neighborhood knows us. We are only ones weekly fighting to keep a small portion of the neighborhood clean. She is Thai so I let her cut back the bamboo, plants, trees that intrude on the walking paths. (Not sure if it could be protected job) Many people stop and say thank you. Local government should understand the ROI that spending a little to keep the city clean returns. More property buyers equals more tax money, more sales equals higher Condo/House prices which equal higher transfer tax amounts. -

Thailand Cracks Down: Police to Monitor Foreign Nationals Closely
I went with my family to Safari World outside Bangkok last Saturday. It was packed with organised family groups of mainly Indians and Chinese. I found them to be unfailingly polite, without being pushy and were excited without being too noisy. These are the tourists Thailand should be attracting rather than the backpackers and sex tourists flocking to Pai and Pattaya. They need far less policing although probably don’t spend as much per capita as the undesirables. That’s why the latter are still welcomed, it’s the short term gain the Thai hosts can’t ignore. Decent facilities and environments will not be developed whilst the riff raff continue to be satisfied with the low end sleazy venues. Lauding them as family friendly is just wishful marketing not reality.
