He had no right to attack the guy and no right to cause damage to the shop .

He should either pay the retail price or not pay it .

Do you agree with the Black looters in the USA who ransack shops and who use violence and don't pay the full price for the goods they loot ?

Which Black looters are you referring to?

and, the Korean store assistant was rude. He could have just given him change and avoided the whole mess he eventually found himself in.

The disagreement wasn't about not being given change , Michael didn't want to pay the price of the drink and he wanted it for a cheaper price

He first asks for change, Korean shop assistant says no change, have to buy something. That was the beginning of the disagreement. Korean shop assistant was being unreasonable.

Its up to the shop keeper whether he wants to give change or not , he might get hundred of people asking for change everyday and he can either give change or not .

Its unreasonable to violently assault the shop keeper and damage his goods

How do you know that the ship keeper wasn't a USA citizen ?

He was an actor , so I expect that he was in the USA legally and paid his taxes  , otherwise he wouldnt be allowed into the actors union

Sourdough loaf in Tops now looks like a large bread roll. Must be almost 50% smaller than it used to be.

I thought I was the only one. The original was a good buy B39, and was sourdough.

It disappeared for bit around here and came back as cake. Tastes like bread with a light coating of fish sauce..

The biggest problem in this country is that there is no competition, they can do with prices, c.g. packaging what they want, they don't have to try that in Europe, there we have Lidel/ Aldi, etc.

There are no more than 3 companies controlling the market, now including Makro.

Shrinkflation, when you reach a certain age it happens. There are medicines.

Looks like 6 but she you only get 3.

Yes, medicines also a good example, I take medicines for high blood pressure, you have to take them continuously, daily.
But what do they do, they put 28 in a box.
Why not 30 or 31.

Rather than increase the price by 20% they reduce the size. Has less impact on sales.

Yes, this is also happening in the West as well

That is pretty standard. You get 4 weeks supply, not one month. Obviously, if you are on more than one per day you would get a multiple of 28.
