Locals were shocked to discover the dead body of an American man floating in the Chao Phraya River in Samut Prakarn province near Bangkok. The cause of his death is under investigation.

A 34 year old Thai man named Noppadon Charnnarongkun reported his shocking discovery at Phra Padaeng Police Station yesterday, November 6. Noppadon explained that he was working at the dock of the Sub Staporn company on Soi Phetchahueng 21 in Phra Padaeng district of Samut Prakarn when he noticed the body.

Police and rescuers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation arrived at the scene and discovered that the dead man was a foreigner. The man was wearing a black T-shirt, long black trousers and trainers.

Due to the company’s rules and conditions at the dock, rescuers were unable to recover the body there. They had to drag the body to the Bang Kajao Nork temple dock and retrieve it.

So some company's rules stop the police from recovering a dead body in situ..........

Conditions of the dock as well , it may have been unsafe to retrieve the body from the location .

Maybe they need up-dating with a caveat in the case of emergencies.

No, preventing the police from recovering the body was not what was reported.

Not only that, they can't set up a crime scene where the body was found. I wonder if they understand how ridiculous this makes the RTP look in the eyes of the world.

If the dead body was flowing in the river........it doesn't matter to pull him out some meters away.

Can't have the doc workers stop working as that would put a dampener on productivity, meaning a loss to any business operating on the docs, money 1st in the LOS, Thai logic, just another farang, probably cumsooside :stoner:.

RIP

Bashers will bash, often without even switching on their brain. If any.
