The Israeli military is carrying out a “precise and targeted operation” in Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital, according to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces.

Israel has repeatedly claimed there is a command center for Palestinian militant group Hamas underneath the hospital, which Hamas and hospital officials have denied.

Israel declared war on Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that controls Gaza, and launched a “complete siege” of the enclave following Hamas’ terror attacks in Israel on October 7. An estimated 1,200 people were killed in Hamas’ attacks, and 240 taken hostage, most of whom remain captive in Gaza.

 

 

Since then, Israeli attacks have killed at least 11,180 Palestinians – including 4,609 children and 3,100 women – according to the Palestinian Health Ministry in Ramallah, which draws on medical sources in Gaza.

International pressure on the Israeli government has soared in recent days amid accounts of desperate circumstances at Gaza’s fuel-starved hospitals, and severe shortages of food and water. United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday repeated his calls for a ceasefire in Gaza “in the name of humanity.

Perhaps it is preferable to have IDF troops on the ground searching for and destroying the Hamas infrastructure rather than bombing the Hospital (it does rather seem to be remarkably undamaged doesn't it). With troops present, fuel, electricity, food and medical supplies can be brought in, without worrying about them being diverted to be used for other needs.

 

Of course, if the IDF has identified a major ( perhaps the main) Hamas command centre under the biggest hospital in Gaza, well that might explain our little fat Portuguese socialist friends squealing!

Whenever Hamas releases the so-called casualty figures, the media should use the phrase "without evidence" every time. This is the group that claimed 500 deaths in an Israeli hospital bombing that turned into 50 deaths in a failed terrorist missile crash.  To say "take their numbers with a grain of salt" is altogether too credulous.

According to eye witness reports from in the hospital ( as heard on Al Jazeera ) the israeli snipers are targeting anyone moving in the hospital grounds and precisely shooting them.

 

There is no proof of a Hamas command center under the hospital, except what the israelis say.

No international organisation involved with the hospital agrees that Hamas are in the hospital. History will not be kind to israel for what they are doing in Gaza and the West Bank.

Al Jazeera is lying to you. Palastians in the hospital have been telling Hamas to go to hell for hiding there. IDF have just stormed the hospital now.

Al Jazeera gets representatives of the international organisations to speak for themselves. Are they all lying?

I hope they are going to give medical attention to the injured, put power back on, water back on and feed them if they are taking over the hospital.

Al Jazeera shows you want they want to show you and censors everything including those inside the hospital complaining about Hamas. If you didn’t have so many people on ignore you’d see all the videos. Yes IDF have doctors and medics with them.
